Hello and welcome! My name is Bridgette. You have taken the first courageous step toward improved mental health. The relationship with your counselor is critical, which is why I strive to create a soothing and reflective experience. My goal is to permit you an opportunity to truly explore and reflect on the challenges that led you to this space and time. Are you struggling with anxiety, relationships, depression, or feeling lost and empty? Through the exploration of your current concerns, we can identify what treatment will best suit your current needs. As you continue to grow and evolve, so too will your counseling sessions. Now that you've taken that first courageous step, when you are ready, I am here and available to listen to your current challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session I will tell you more about my processes, the rest of the session is fully dedicated to getting to know you. Our first session is your opportunity to tell me what you have been experiencing, as well as what you would like out of the therapeutic process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My professional familiarity in working with individuals who have intimate partner violence and addiction in their lives, in some capacity, gives me a unique perspective in addressing personal and relationship challenges. Due to this familiarity, I also have experience with PTSD and complex trauma issues.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, relationship conflicts, life stage struggles, health issues, or even figuring out who you are, I am a compassionate voice to aid you through the process. Together, we will work to identify your current obstacles and process how you might overcome them to create a healthier you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While I utilize the treatment that will best work for my clients needs, I often find Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) benefits all clients in some capacity. I have used CBT my entire counseling career, and I am well versed in doing so.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Respecting the individual I am working with, their culture and beliefs, is critical to my approach to counseling. Throughout my career I have focused on the individual, even in a group setting.

Compassion Focused

Compassion in counseling is a vital component of connection to better aid with a client’s growth and progress. I value compassion and utilize such regardless of why a person seeks counseling.
