Hello my name is Danny. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been living in Philadelphia for the last 7 years working with children, adolescence, and adults. I work primarily in family theory setting at this point and often with LGBTQ+ clients and families. I support families transition into understanding and acceptance and help client build self-esteem. When I'm not helping people untangle their emotional spaghetti, I’m outside on a walk with my dog and trying my best not to get lost.

My treatment methods

Gender-affirming therapy

I have been working specifically with Tran and Queer clients and families over the last 2 years. As part of this community, I have been able to use threptic techniques to support people with the unique mental health conditions that so often surround people who identify as LGBTQ+.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

My approach is often focused on finding solutions to the current symptoms that are being seen. This can relieve symptoms quickly.

Structural Family Therapy

I have worked as family therapist for the last 3 years. I have supported family systems to learn how to communicate with one another and find a way to support one another. This style often is used when talking with families and couples.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe that therapy should be done for the client and based on what they think is important to them.

Strength-Based

I am a positive person, I intentionally work from the first session to ensure that finding, supporting, and growing strengths is a focus for each client.
