Maybe you are feeling anxious, depressed or overwhelmed? I have over 15 years of experience in helping others with several life struggles. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am concerned about a person's physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. My clients experience me as someone who listens and is willing to help provide skills to help you to have a more positive life journey. I see clients from many different types of backgrounds. I am not only comfortable with seeing individuals, but also families. I am experienced in multiple treatment modalities, and I make sure that we are always focusing on your goals.
During our first session, I will be asking you several questions about the issues you have been having. I ask you about your goals and when and how often you would like to meet for sessions.
I feel it is important to help people feel better about their lives quickly. Quick and effective treatment strategies are important. Most people that meet with me enjoy their time. During our sessions, "You are the boss" of what we discuss.

My first therapy session with Jennifer was such a relief. She put me at ease naturally and listened to my concerns and issues with hope and openness. I felt that comfortable connection with her that I’ve been missing in a therapist in quite some time.

I just started with Jen. All I can say now is I love her energy.
DBT is used throughout sessions to help "tweek" and change some thoughts that seem to cause stress and hardship.
Used to quickly help reduce the impact of flashbacks and not having to talk about the trauma itself. I also use FLASH and most clients enjoy this technique as well.
