Hi, I’m Joe. I’ve worked in the mental health field for 27 years across substance use treatment, outpatient care, and hospital settings. I’ve supported individuals and families through crisis, transition, and long-term growth. I work well with young adults, adults, and families who are navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or major life changes. I also have extensive experience working with men who may struggle to express emotions directly and instead feel stuck in withdrawal, irritability, or self-doubt. As a veteran, I understand the mindset and pressures that can come with military life. Across all of my work, I aim to provide a grounded, steady presence where honesty, insight, and meaningful change can take place.

Hello! I am a graduate from Rider University and have my LPC in NJ and PA. I have been in community mental health for a decade, working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and needs. In my eyes, the primary goal of therapy is to feel safe and build a trusting relationship with healthy boundaries in a non-judgmental environment. My techniques focus on building hope, being solution-focused and utilizing mindfulness techniques to feel more present. Often people feel "stuck" in the past or worry about the future, so a combination of these techniques along with CBT and Motivational Interviewing, I hope to create an environment that can help a person achieve their goals.

Hi, I’m Jessica Troxler ~ I believe that it’s important to not overshare with clients and at the same time share a little about myself to start building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I began my professional career as a biology major and decided to switch to psychology. Regardless of my major, I knew that I always wanted to be in a helping profession and to make a positive difference in other people’s lives. I have been in the mental health field for over 7 years. I received my Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in addiction counseling from Rutgers University in 2019. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, brazilian jiu jitsu, spending time with friends and family, skiing, traveling, and going to concerts. I’ve had the honor of helping clients through various life struggles, such as, navigating the aftermath of divorce or breakups, addiction, eating disorders, ADHD, schizophrenia, homelessness, anxiety, and depression. I’ve also worked in a variety of settings such as, inpatient mental health facilities, detox centers, and in-home therapy working with families and children. You name it, I’ve probably helped someone through almost every issue that someone can go through in life. I will also offer appropriate referrals if I don’t believe that I can confidently address your specific needs. I utilize different evidenced based practices, such as, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), solution focused therapy, and gottman method couples therapy.

I am a therapist dedicated to empowering clients to reclaim their path toward their most desired future. My work is fundamentally solution-focused, meaning we spend less time dissecting problems and more time defining your strengths, identifying immediate wins, and building actionable steps toward your goals. Your capacity for change is immense, and my role is to help you see it clearly. My approach is collaborative and strategically integrated. I draw heavily on Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you resolve ambivalence and articulate your own, intrinsic reasons for change. This partnership focuses on eliciting "Change Talk" and moving from passive hope to decisive action. When building specific skills, I utilize CBT techniques, ensuring you leave each session with measurable, practical tools to manage your mood and navigate daily challenges effectively. For clients healing from deeper wounds, my expertise in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Grief Therapy ensures we address the past, but always through the lens of liberation. We process how trauma or loss has changed your worldview—identifying "stuck points"—not to dwell, but to remove cognitive barriers that block your future progress. I weave in Existential principles to anchor your goals in profound personal meaning. We ensure the future you are building is authentic and aligned with your deepest values, giving you the courage to take ownership of your choices. If you are ready to stop focusing on what is broken and start defining your best self, I offer a focused, empowering journey toward reclaiming your life.

I work with women and women-identifying individuals who are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, reproductive mental health, and all of the complicated identity shifts that can come with being a woman in different seasons of life. Many of my clients are smart, capable, and very good at keeping things moving. On the outside, they may look like they have it all together. Inside, they may feel anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected from themselves, or simply tired of carrying so much. I especially enjoy working with women through young adulthood, dating and relationships, marriage, career stress, perfectionism, infertility, fertility treatment and IVF, pregnancy, postpartum changes, motherhood, parenting, grief and loss, and midlife transitions. I also work with women who are trying to figure out who they are now that the version of themselves that used to fit no longer quite does. Reproductive and perinatal mental health is a particular passion of mine. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), I have specialized training in infertility, IVF and fertility treatment, pregnancy, postpartum mental health, pregnancy loss, reproductive grief, family-building decisions, and the emotional complexities that can come with becoming a parent. My style as a therapist is warm, conversational, thoughtful, and active. I believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling stiff or overly clinical. We will talk about difficult things, but we can also laugh. I will listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, notice patterns, and help you make sense of what is happening underneath the surface. My goal is for you to feel understood, challenged when it is helpful, and comfortable enough to show up as yourself.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with individuals experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, trauma, and psychosomatic symptoms. My work focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their emotional experiences and physical symptoms, particularly when distress shows up in the body as pain, tension, fatigue without clear medical explanations. I take an integrative approach to therapy, combing several modalities to support clients in identifying patterns of overthinking, emotional reactivity, and relational dynamics that may be rooted in earlier experiences. I support clients in helping them build practical skills for regulation and coping. A central part of my work involves nervous system regulation and helping clients feel safer and more connected within their bodies. I believe that meaningful change happens within a safe and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s pace. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I use dogs in my office while doing therapy. Please schedule telehealth or advise in advance if you are not comfortable in an office with animals. They do provide therapeutic support to clients and have been part of my practice for some time. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and specialty certification as a Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life. I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly. I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child. I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.

Life can feel overwhelming when trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges take center stage. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person—not just a collection of symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to help them make meaning of their experiences, reconnect with their values, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. I specialize in trauma and have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use concerns. I also work with couples and families, supporting healthier communication, deeper understanding, and more secure connections. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply seeking clarity and growth, I aim to meet you where you are with compassion and respect. My approach is rooted in humanistic and existential therapy, emphasizing personal agency, self-awareness, and the belief that change is possible—even in the midst of pain. I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief work, and solution-focused interventions, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Healing is not about “fixing” yourself—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and learning new ways to relate to your experiences. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move forward with intention.

I received by Bachelors degree from Coastal Carolina University in 2010 and then my Masters degree from Winthrop University in 2012. I began practicing while I was in graduate school so I'm currently on my 15th year of practice. My clinical background includes outpatient therapy, in-home therapy, integrated behavioral health and primary care, inpatient treatment, and forensic psychology. Since I've run a large span of different practices I consider myself a jack-of-all trades when it comes to mental health and therapy. Things I've treated most are depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA issues, trauma, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, and ADHD. If you don't see your concern listed, don't hesitate to ask! I tell people often, I'm a come-as-you-are type therapist that likes to foster an open and comfortable environment. I'm Jackie — a licensed clinical social worker and addiction counselor who genuinely loves this work. I trained at NYU Silver and spent years in community mental health, inpatient, and outpatient settings before opening my private practice. I wanted something less clinical and more human. I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, codependency, relationship struggles, and the kind of life transitions that leave you wondering who you even are anymore. A lot of my clients grew up in homes that felt unpredictable or unsafe — homes where they learned early to read the room, manage everyone else's feelings, and keep the peace at their own expense. They've been the capable one for so long that asking for help feels almost foreign. If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place. Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. Sessions feel more like a real conversation than a formal appointment. I'll help you understand the patterns underneath the surface stuff — why you react the way you do, where it came from, and what to do about it now. We'll draw from CBT, DBT, and IPT, building real skills along the way. Sometimes you'll leave with something to try between sessions; other times, something to sit with and think about. My style is warm, direct, and skills-focused. I'll meet you where you are and gently push when it serves your growth, because real change usually means getting a little uncomfortable in a safe space. Humor shows up too — the hard stuff goes down easier when we can laugh at parts of it. Asking for help isn't weakness. It's one of the braver things you can do.

I found my career as a therapist as a secondary one which has provided exposure to multiple therapeutic settings. My start in community mental health gifted me with a well-rounded, diverse level of training and exposure to the human experience. More importantly, my background reinforced the importance and power of the therapeutic relationship. I am curious, empathetic, affirming, and compassionate. My sense of humor often finds its way into our sessions (as do my dogs, if you're so inclined!). Together, we will map your treatment, so that you are clear as to what to expect, regardless of the intervention. We start at the place you are ready, reinforcing the strengths and resiliency that you already exhibit. Together, we build from there to address what you came in for.. Therapy is hard work, but it is also profoundly full, rewarding and empowering. It's important for me to honor both the challenges and rewards.

Most importantly I am a good listener. If I do not understand, I will ask. I believe in becoming uncomfortable to accept growth and change. I am patient and kind, but I will hold you accountable if necessary. I am here for you. I will do my best to understand what your needs are in order and develop a treatment plan based on that order: emotional, physical, reminders, etc... and how to be ready to move through the week ahead. A goal or an intention or again whatever word you will choose to use will be set, as to see success in small steps.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both PA and NJ. I have been in private practice since 2001. I work with ages 15 years and older and I LOVE my career. I work with teens and young adults who are transitioning and have seen these clients through the entire process of not being accepted by peers and, very sadly family, to live incredible full lives. I have a past client's wedding to go to in May :) I get to witness my clients live the lives they've always wanted and I'm a small part of that. I absolutely love my job.

Hi, I’m Samantha! I’ve been a clinician for over twelve years, and I genuinely love this work. My passion lies in helping clients tap into their strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change in their lives. Over the years, I’ve worked with people of all ages in schools, juvenile justice, and long-term care—experiences that have given me a deep appreciation for the resilience of the human spirit. As a mom, I understand firsthand how life can be both beautifully rewarding and incredibly overwhelming. I bring that perspective into my sessions—combining compassion, curiosity, and a sense of humor with a down-to-earth, real-world approach. Outside of my practice, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, organizing (yes, it’s my version of therapy!), and spending time with my family. Fun fact: I have a degree in Philosophy and even studied Japanese in high school!

I specialize in relational trauma, including domestic violence and childhood trauma, as well as anxiety and depression. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, helping them break unhealthy patterns, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and confidence. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I integrate trauma-informed care with evidence-based practices like CBT and EMDR. I meet clients where they are while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve them, helping them build insight and practical coping skills. I am supportive, honest, and straightforward. I create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to share openly, while also offering clear feedback and guidance. I balance empathy with gentle challenge to help clients move forward. I help clients identify patterns, process past experiences, and develop practical strategies for change. Together, we set clear, realistic goals and track progress. My focus is on helping clients build confidence, improve relationships, and feel more in control of their lives. Please note: I provide individual therapy only and don't offer couples counseling.

I believe that healing begins with safety, connection, and understanding. Through a polyvagal-informed approach, I help my clients recognize how their nervous system influences their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Many of the struggles we experience are not signs of weakness, but adaptive responses to stress, overwhelm, and life experiences. Together, we will develop a greater awareness of your nervous system, strengthen your capacity for regulation, and cultivate a deeper sense of resilience and self-trust. My goal is to help you move beyond merely surviving and toward feeling more connected, empowered, and engaged in your life. By creating a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, I help clients access their innate capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. For the past twenty years, I have worked as a school counselor, helping children develop emotional intelligence, coping skills, and self-awareness. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the profound impact that relationships rooted in safety, connection, and attuned support can have on healing. I have seen how individuals can begin to release emotional pain and trauma held within the body when provided with the right support and interventions. I have also observed how a dysregulated nervous system—often expressed through fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown responses—can contribute to physical symptoms, repeated diagnostic testing, and medical interventions that fail to address the underlying cause. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am able to expand this work beyond the school setting, helping individuals across the lifespan understand how their unique experiences, relationships, and biology influence both their mental and physical well-being. My passion is empowering clients to reconnect with their strengths, develop greater self-compassion, and create lasting change from the inside out.

My experience has taught me the profound value of truly connecting with individuals—walking alongside them as they heal, grow, and realize their full potential. This insight has been instrumental in helping clients develop effective strategies to overcome a wide range of mental health challenges, addictive behaviors, and life transitions, as well as concerns related to both mental and physical well-being. I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to therapy, integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork. I firmly believe that each client’s unique story should shape the therapeutic journey. Clients often leave sessions feeling empowered—with greater confidence, self-esteem, and the motivation to face life’s challenges head-on. My hope is that each person walks back into the world thinking, “I know how to do this day.”

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
