New to Grow
I work with girls and young women dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, family issues, or just feeling overwhelmed and stuck. I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults, including building and running an adolescent intensive outpatient program. I’m warm, down-to-earth, and active in sessions. I want therapy to feel comfortable and real, while also being a place where we can actually work through what’s going on and help you move forward.
Our first session is really about getting to know each other and getting a sense of what’s been going on. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re struggling with, and what you’d like to work on. There’s no pressure to get into everything right away. We’ll take it from there together.
I’m warm and easy to talk to, but I’m also very active and engaged in sessions. I ask questions, help you make connections, notice patterns, and give honest feedback. I’m able to sit with the hard stuff while also helping you figure out what to actually do with it and how to move forward.
My ideal client is someone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or like they’re having a hard time managing everything going on in their life. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, family dynamics, or their sense of self. They want to better understand themselves, feel more in control of their emotions, work through what’s holding them back, and make meaningful changes in their life.
I take a trauma-informed approach by looking at the whole person, not just the symptoms they’re experiencing. We work to understand how past experiences may be showing up in the present, while building tools to feel safer, more regulated, and more in control.
