New to Grow
Welcome! My name is Alexandra, and I am so glad you have chosen to focus on your mental health. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood. I work collaboratively with my clients to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and build stronger coping skills for everyday life. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths and help you reconnect with your sense of self-worth and resilience. I’m passionate about helping clients find balance and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or uncertain, I believe that therapy can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and growth. My approach is warm, compassionate, and goal-oriented—I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
During our first session together, we will get to know each other and identify what you would like to work on in therapy. We’ll explore your short-term and long-term goals, discuss any barriers that might be getting in the way, and begin developing strategies to help you make steady progress. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, heard, and hopeful from the very start.
I bring warmth, compassion, and genuine curiosity into every session. I’m deeply committed to helping clients recognize their own strengths and capabilities. My clients often describe me as supportive and encouraging, helping them feel more confident as they face daily stressors and work toward meaningful change.
I’m best suited to work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, stress, or challenges related to life transitions. Counseling can be empowering, and I strive to help my clients build confidence in their ability to handle whatever life brings. Whether your concerns feel big or small, I’m here to help you navigate them with care and compassion.
I use CBT in sessions to help my clients recognize how some of their core beliefs and thoughts can impact their behaviors. In recognizing these patterns, we are then able to work together to focus on changing some of the beliefs in order to produce different actions which lead to different outcomes. In changing our thoughts and actions, my goal is to help clients reduce anxiety.
I prefer to focus on client's strengths rather than weaknesses in order to help my clients build confidence in their abilities to make decisions and positive behavioral changes to help them reach their goals.
