My practice assists Black clients across North America who are impacted by a range of concerns including trauma, anxiety, and depression through a racially-sensitive treatment approach. We also work with individual clients seeking to improve their self-concept by understanding and processing the impact of historical and generational racial trauma on their relationships with themselves, their families, their friends, and their partners. I am a therapist who strives to fully understand my clients and their needs to create an optimized approach to meet their goals. I specialize in working primarily with individual adult clients to help them deal with issues such as infidelity, communication, stress management, anger management, relationship building, sexuality, etc. At Yolo Therapy, our ultimate goal is the well-being of our clients. For various reasons, many clients are unable to access traditional therapy settings but I do not believe that should prevent them from receiving exceptional services. I have catered my practice to the needs of those who need alternative options to therapy and am here to help you.

Are you feeling a little “off” lately? Down, anxious or unsure what comes next in life, especially after the last year or so? Or it could be you just don’t feel like yourself and you’re not sure why. You are not alone. To have problems means that you are human; but there is hope.
I provide a warm, accepting space for people to explore what matters to them and what’s getting in their way. I help clients learn to feel more comfortable with their emotions, to experiment with different ways of relating to their thoughts and feelings, to cultivate resilience, and to develop the self-trust and self-compassion that will support them along their paths.
Therapy provides you with a place to work on and work out your concerns, to be heard and reflect, and to take some space for yourself. Together, we will explore the underlying reasons for your troubles, what it might mean for you to “feel better” and begin to live a more productive, meaningful and engaged life.
I use an integrative approach consisting of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based interventions.
Hello I'm Angelina.
Are you feeling frustrated, irritable , and mad at the world? Are you ready to feel at peace, and proud of the way you are living your everyday life? We all have challenges in life, and sometimes additional support is necessary. No matter how small or overwhelming the challenge I approach treatment from a place of non judgment to identify the root of problems as opposed to offering a temporary fix.
During our first session I will take time to get to know you. I will ask about your past experiences with therapy, and what you want to accomplish during our tome together. A short assessment will also be conducted to identify any past trauma so I am better able to support you. Follow-up sessions will be used to continue building the therapeutic relationship, and begin working towards positive change.
Together I can support you in identifying stressors, and learning healthy coping mechanisms to support long term wellbeing. I take time to learn about client's personalities, strengths , and specific areas of focus. Together we can identify tools to address symptoms of anxiety, depression and substance use. My goal is to collaborate with you. And create an individualized plan that can support you in becoming the best version of yourself. Let's talk, I am here to support!
Hello, My name Is Reginald Burgess. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. My specialty of interest is providing brief, short term counseling services to individuals seeking counseling to address anger issues, self esteem issues, and depression. I utilize many therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I hope you will consider me as someone who can assist you in addressing the issues and concerns you are struggling with.
I have experience working with people from all different backgrounds. My primary focus is working with men who are having difficulty with expressing and processing negative thoughts and feelings. I have a particular interest in working with first responders and members of the military.
I am motivated to join anyone who is motivated to take on life's challenges to become a better version of themselves! I am ready to take this journey with you!
I use the newest advances in neuroscience to heal emotional pain, anxiety, trauma, depression and PTSD. These issues cannot be solved with TALK THERAPY as recent research has found that the emotional pain of past events is stuck and resides within your body and nervous system. Adrenaline is flowing through your system which is keeping you anxious. Research shows that we have to remove the trauma from your body-mind, reduce the adrenaline/cortisol, and only then activate your conscious medial cortex to "reframe and rethink" the issues. First we heal the body, then we will heal the mind.
I work with people of all faiths. I believe in a spirituality that transcends religion. With my guidance, you can transform negative energy into positive growth. You are unique, and your struggles have never been experienced by anyone else in the world. That's why I am committed to helping you on your journey towards finding meaning, purpose, and self-actualization. I will guide you towards a happier, more fulfilling life. If you are ready to take the first step towards a better tomorrow, please reach out to me to schedule an appointment.
I have developed a transformative program called Consciousness that helps individuals overcome feelings of sadness, anger, and loss. My approach acknowledges that crises can be opportunities to tap into hidden strengths and abilities, rather than mere setbacks that can break us. I will help you embrace a more positive, hopeful and energetic approach to life. You can learn more about Consciousness in my book Stay Woke and Ignite Your Soul.
The challenge you are currently facing is your special project or mission. You can do this. I will help guide you on your continuing journey toward self-discovery. Take the first step toward growth and a better life.

I am an independent licensed clinical/certified Social Worker. I first started my career in Child Welfare in various states/levels of government as an investigator and elevated to a supervisory role. I also hail from the US Department of Veterans Affairs in a Management role. However, it is my pleasure to now serve as Therapist and in my private practice.
My main specialty areas include, but are not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Trauma/PTSD, Intimate Partner Violence, Grief and Loss, Narcissism, Codependency, Geriatric, etc.
My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

Hello, my name is Michelle. I believe therapy is a time to examine internalized experiences that shape our perspectives and behaviors. Engaging in introspective work together can challenge us to reframe maladaptive thoughts. I aim to assist clients with managing emotional dysregulation and symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, and trauma in a safe, nonjudgmental space. I hope to foster growth and strengthen coping skills during difficult transitional points in a person’s life.
I am interested in exploring my clients' family of origin and attachment styles. I have a special sensitivity to sociocultural factors and intergenerational trauma. I embrace the complexities that make up the lived experiences of my clients and affirm their unique identities.
I am an experienced therapist licensed in Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, and Kansas. I work with adults seeking thoughtful, results-focused support during periods of stress, transition, or relationship strain.
Many of my clients are capable, high-functioning people who feel stuck despite insight and effort. They may be managing anxiety, burnout, or relationship challenges, while appearing to “have it together” on the outside. They are looking for more than a place to vent—they want clarity, practical tools, and meaningful change.
My approach is active, collaborative, and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and relational work. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we identify the patterns driving distress and build skills that create sustainable change.
I earned my master’s degree from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. Clients describe me as supportive, direct, compassionate, and realistic—with a grounded sense of humor.

****Please note that the times that are open are my current openings*****. I do not have any evening availabilty. I specialize in symptoms of Adult and Child Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, and ADHD. I assist frustrated parents with changing child behaviors which are impacting the family in a negative way. I believe that everyone is capable of overcoming obstacles and moving toward becoming their best self. All families have challenges, and can use these challenges as opportunities to improve their relationships. Therapy is a tool that provides a safe, accepting environment in which people can begin to make the changes they need to have the life they want to live.
Even though you may be struggling with something right now, you can choose to see it in a new way... which can lead to changing your relationship to it... which can lead to real transformation. Everything you need is already within you. My role is to help you access it, and use it. I bring curiosity, empathy, and evidence-based therapies -- including mind-body approaches (e.g., EFT tapping, energy work, breathwork, meditation/mindfulness) and the principles of ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) and IFS (internal family systems therapy) and spiraling out from there as your story leads us. You bring openness, willingness to practice, and neuroplasticity, and you can change -- literally re-wire -- your brain. When you do, you'll be amazed at the cascade of positive changes this creates... not only within you, but all around you in your life.

First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience supporting adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. I hold a BA in Journalism and Communications from Hampton University and a Master’s in Social Work from Howard University.
I work with clients navigating anxiety, stress, family and relationship challenges, and major life transitions such as college, new parenthood, or career changes. My goal is to help people strengthen self-awareness, improve communication, and create more balance in their relationships and daily lives.
My approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and collaboration.
My own healing journey—shaped by faith, adoption, and the power of community—inspires me to walk alongside others through both expected and unexpected changes. I believe in the freedom that comes from doing the work: acknowledging pain, releasing what no longer serves us, and reclaiming joy.
