She has worked in different aspects of mental health and addiction environments including drug Court, detention Centers, local sports recreational teams and local clinics. Ms. Swift has worked her way from being a young teenage single mother to a Director of a Substance Abuse Program. I work on spirituality from a non judgmental, individualized approach. I also work on inspiration and motivation within self.
Our first session will be an assessment that focuses on your past stories along with your own perspectives. We do not judge but we also do not stay suck. We discuss your definitions of life. It's ok to start accepting who you are, not who you feel you have to be. One must learn how to dance in the rain in order to see the beauty in the rainbow.
My greatest strength is that in therapy, there are no right or wrongs, some things simply just are. We discuss on what impact society or others have played when it comes to your story.
My ideal clients are those who are open minded in their own journey. Client's who are ready for a new chapter in life with the understanding that the past is simply that, the past. No more power to things that we can not change.
Client's are guided through a series of life chapters. This includes non judgmental acceptance instead of understanding. Client's are viewed as main characters and that the problem is the problem.
