You may feel like you're struggling, that its too hard to change, or that relief simply isn't possible. Perhaps anxiety keeps you up at night, sadness follows you through your days, or your relationships leave you feeling misunderstood and emotionally drained. I believe there is an integrative center within each of us that naturally guides us toward healing. The situations, losses, and difficulties that arise in life, as painful as they are, can become the very impetus we need to grow into a fuller, more joyful version of ourselves. Healing isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about reconnecting with who you already are beneath the weight of everything you've been carrying. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping people untangle the thoughts, wounds, and patterns that keep them stuck. My work spans anxiety disorders, depression, stress management, trauma, addiction, illness, and relationship issues. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals recovering from toxic or controlling relationships — people who have spent years doubting themselves or wondering if what they experienced was "bad enough" to deserve support. It was. You do. My therapeutic style has been described as warm, respectful, and collaborative. I create a supportive environment where you feel genuinely seen, not just heard, and where an honest, trusting relationship can develop at your own pace. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to what you truly need. I enjoy working with clients from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and bring both clinical depth and genuine curiosity to every therapeutic relationship. You deserve to feel lighter. You deserve to understand yourself more deeply, release what no longer serves you, and build relationships that feel safe, nurturing, and real.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My first session with a new client is a collaborative conversation designed to help them feel safe, heard, and understood — not interrogated or judged. We spend time exploring what brought them to therapy, what has been weighing on them, and what they are hoping to create or change in their life, while I begin to get a sense of their history, patterns, and strengths. By the end of our first session, my goal is for every client to leave feeling a sense of relief that they have finally found a space where their experience makes sense and where real, meaningful change is possible.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out most about me and my approach is the rare combination of over 25 years of clinical expertise and a deep, specialized understanding of the patterns that keep people stuck — including the subtle relational and emotional wounds that are often overlooked or misunderstood, even by well-meaning clinicians. I bring both the precision of a seasoned clinician and the warmth of someone who genuinely believes in each client's capacity to heal, offering a space that is not only therapeutically grounded but also validating in a way that many clients have never experienced before. My work is informed by multiple evidence-based modalities — including CBT, ACT, EMDR, and Interpersonal Therapy — which means I meet each client where they are rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, always tailoring the work to what will create the most meaningful and lasting change for that individual.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who feels stuck — whether in their relationships, career, sense of identity, or overall direction in life — and senses that old wounds, deeply ingrained patterns, and unresolved pain are quietly running the show beneath the surface. They may be struggling with chronic anxiety, depression, low motivation, emotional numbness, or overwhelming feelings that seem hard to explain, and are beginning to realize that the way they think, relate, and respond to the world is rooted in experiences they have never fully processed or healed. They are ready to stop surviving on autopilot, understand the deeper roots of their pain, and build the clarity, confidence, and resilience needed to create a life that finally feels authentic, purposeful, and their own.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients stop fighting their painful thoughts and feelings and instead learn to observe them with curiosity and compassion. By clarifying what truly matters to them, clients build the psychological flexibility to take meaningful action in their lives even in the presence of difficult emotions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients stop fighting their painful thoughts and feelings and instead learn to observe them with curiosity and compassion. By clarifying what truly matters to them, clients build the psychological flexibility to take meaningful action in their lives even in the presence of difficult emotions.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process traumatic memories and distressing experiences that have become "frozen" in the nervous system, preventing them from healing and moving forward. Through guided bilateral stimulation, clients are able to reprocess these memories so they lose their emotional charge, allowing the brain to integrate them in a healthier, more adaptive way.

Interpersonal

I use Interpersonal Therapy to help clients understand how their relationship patterns, communication styles, and unresolved interpersonal conflicts are directly contributing to their emotional distress. By improving the quality of their relationships and developing healthier ways of connecting with others, clients experience significant relief from symptoms and a greater sense of support and belonging.

Gender-affirming therapy

I use Gender Affirming Therapy to create a safe, validating space where clients can explore their gender identity free from judgment, shame, or the pressure to conform to others' expectations. By centering each client's own experience and self-definition, I help them navigate the emotional, relational, and practical challenges of their journey while building resilience and a stronger, more authentic sense of self.
