I specialize in helping women with anxiety and depression disorders. I love creating a safe, non-judgmental environment that enables you to get to the core of your struggles. Together we can find clarity and identify what's not working and explore evidence-based techniques to help you breakthrough cycles and overcome. We'll integrate mindfulness practices and use holistic approaches to address your mind, body and spirit needs. Clients can expect to be heard, and experience a safe environment without judgement or criticism. The first session consists of "getting acquainted", and find your way around my therapeutic space where respect is normalized consistently!
My therapeutic orientation is based from Cognitive-behavioral therapy which focuses on making connections between thoughts behavior, and feelings. Client-centered therapy, a non-directive form of talk therapy that emphasizes positive unconditional regard for you the client.
Many of the clients I work with express feeling safe in our session and also experience sincere empathy and genuine regard for their circumstances. These are two of my greatest strengths in addition to being a great listener and empowering individuals to explore alternative ways of coping with their symptoms.

Ms. Holden is a warm, intelligent, and kind individual. She really took the time to make me feel like being in her presence was a safe space. The flow of the conversation was inviting. I didn’t feel like she was overtaking the conversation and that she made my thoughts and feelings heard.

After my first session with Cynthia, I knew she was the therapist for me. She provided me with opportunities to practice self-care along with some affirmations. I feel like a heavy weight has been lifted. I found THE therapist that will help me navigate what's going on in my life.
