(he/him)
I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As a cognitive-behavioral therapist, I specialize in helping individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through evidence-based techniques, I work with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in their lives. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where you can gain insight, build resilience, and achieve your personal goals. Whether you're seeking to manage stress, overcome addiction, anxiety or depression, or improve your overall well-being, I am here to support you on your journey toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
During our first session, my goal is to get to know you and create a comfortable, non-judgmental space for us to begin exploring what brought you to therapy. We’ll spend some time discussing your background, any challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. It’s important for me to understand your unique situation so that we can develop a plan that’s tailored to your needs. I’ll also explain how I work and what you can expect from our sessions moving forward. We will discuss confidentiality, the structure of our sessions, and the therapy process so you feel fully informed and comfortable. This initial session is an opportunity for you to ask any questions and make sure that I’m the right fit for you. By the end of our first meeting, I aim to have a clearer understanding of your goals and how we can begin working together to make progress.
As a therapist providing cognitive-behavioral therapy, I bring a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with clients facing a variety of challenges, including addiction, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, and life stressors. My strength lies in my ability to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings. I use proven techniques to help you develop practical strategies, challenge negative thought patterns, and foster lasting change. My commitment is to work collaboratively with you, respecting your unique experiences and perspectives, to help you navigate your struggles and build resilience. My communication style is a blend of compassion and directness. I deeply care about my clients and aim to create a supportive, empathetic environment where they feel heard and understood. At the same time, I believe in being honest and clear, especially when it comes to helping clients face difficult truths or take actionable steps toward their goals. My approach is collaborative—I’m here to guide you, but I’ll also challenge you when needed to help you grow. In our sessions, you can expect a warm and non-judgmental space where we can explore your concerns together. However, I also believe in getting to the heart of issues and offering practical, real-world strategies to move forward. It can feel both validating and motivating to work with me—there will be moments of deep reflection and moments of tough love, but always with the intention of helping you achieve meaningful change.
I am best positioned to support individuals who are seeking to overcome challenges related to addiction, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, and other life stressors. My approach is particularly effective for those who want practical tools to manage their symptoms, develop healthier thought patterns, and create positive change in their lives.
