I am a compassionate and dedicated trauma-focused therapist specializing in helping individuals heal from the emotional and psychological effects of trauma, or helping couples work through their trauma together to strengthen their relationships. Helping navigating life's challenges, including depression, anxiety, and the stressors that can often feel overwhelming. I strive to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to process and recover from difficult experiences.
In our first session together, I'll tell you more about what our sessions will look like together and I'll get a detailed history of your life. Then we'll talk more about what you would like your life to look like, and we'll set goals to help you get there.

After just 1 session, she was able to get a good sense of our relationship (positive aspects and what needs improving) and identify a path to resolution. She is also very good at communicating.

So far I really like Jamila, I come in each session with some uncertainties of what I want to do with my problems. I leave the session feeling good and with some things to work on to move forward and to help me come to a resolution. She listens and I feel heard.

She makes me feel I can express how I feel without feeling stupid. Jamilla is so understanding and willing to give tips on handling my emotions. She encourages me not to be so fearful. I feel so comfortable talking to her and I needed someone to listen and be able to vent. Lord knows I really needed this therapy session. She has a warm personality and I don't feel I am being judged when I talk to her. I don't I have to hold back my thoughts when talking to her. She praises me .
