About me

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents. I work with people from different backgrounds and cultures who face a variety of challenges. I've gained my experience by working in corrections, hospitals, schools, community outpatient programs, and private practice. Hence, I've seen mental health concerns create obstacles in many areas of life, including school, employment, relationships, parenting, and spirituality. I became a mental health professional to help remove these barriers as we work collaboratively on this therapeutic journey. I believe that self-exploration can be achieved in a variety of ways, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral approaches, and trauma-informed care. We will explore underlying patterns of behavior while also developing skills to manage stress. I love helping people learn about themselves to achieve growth and feel better. I believe in a nonjudgmental approach that provides a safe environment. There's no problem too small to talk about.
