LCSW-C, 1 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi, I’m Nicole Malament– I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with a background in working with teens, young adults, and women since 2017. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create an environment in which you'll feel safe to be fully authentic. Bringing warmth, positivity, and humor into each session, I help clients appreciate their unique abilities and enhance their self-esteem to empower each person in living the life they have dreamed about. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with my Bachelor’s of Science in Family Science with a concentration in LGBT studies. In 2019, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work. I’m also a dog-mom to a French bulldog, Dobby, a proud aunt to my toddler niece, and a fiancé to my partner, Rachel.
No two journeys are the same; in our first session together we'll focus on getting to know you and your personal insights. Together, we will work to identify any challenges that you're facing and collaborate to develop your treatment goals for where you want your life to be a month, six months, and even a year from now. I aim for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, appreciated, and invigorated by the possibilities of what they can accomplish with support.
Therapy looks different for everyone and I tailor my approach to meet clients with where they currently are in their journey towards growth.
I have a special interest in working with teens, young adults, and women navigating eating disorders, anxiety, dating, LGBTQ identity, and life transitions.
