Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Jackie and I’m a therapist who believes in creating a safe, affirming space for everyone, exactly as they are. My approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and rooted in radical acceptance. I understand that healing looks different for everyone, and I’m here to collaborate with you in a way that honors your unique needs and goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is to gather background information and life history. This will help me get to know you. We will also explore what you would like to work on in therapy and changes you would like to make. What do you feel is missing or lacking in your life? You are welcome to ask any questions along the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring lived experience and deep empathy to my work. I understand what it’s like to feel “different” in a world that often pushes people to conform to narrow ideals. My practice is grounded in the belief that all bodies, minds, and identities are inherently worthy of care, respect, and compassion.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My practice is welcoming to all—people of all sizes, neurotypes, genders, sexualities, and cultural backgrounds. You deserve a space where you can feel seen, heard, and celebrated for who you are.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My personality leans most towards a person-centered approach. This means I am honest, empathetic, and have unconditional acceptance of my clients. Therapy sessions are a safe space.

Existential

Existential concerns arise for many of us at some point in our lives. Existential therapy looks at meaning in life and helps us cope with some of life's unanswered questions.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic approaches are important to integrate into therapy to examine unconscious beliefs and how our past affects our present behaviors.
