Hi! I’m Melissa.
Do you feel pulled in a million and one directions? Do you feel stuck in cycles of unhappiness and confusion? Do you struggle to be kind to yourself?
You deserve a safe space to heal and grow.
I help individuals identify and resolve symptoms of anxiety, stress, and trauma. Together, we can use approaches that address the needs of your mind, body, and spirit, resulting in a stronger relationship with yourself.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help decrease symptoms and increase your skills to cope. Seeking therapy can feel scary. But if you are reading this, you have the courage to take the step.
In our sessions together, I'll meet you without judgment and use evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the concerns that are holding you back.
Are you ready to get started?
Are you stressed and overwhelmed by your health, your day-to-day life, or your relationships? As a Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, as well as being a two-time breast cancer survivor and a caretaker for my elderly parents, I can help you to navigate health issues and life stresses more effectively.
Life can be difficult for each of us at some point in time, in ways unique to our own circumstances. My goal is to help people through the tough chapters so that they move into better chapters with additional tools to handle challenges and stresses. I don't view people as being broken or needing fixing. We all need someone with whom to sort things through at times, someone who isn't part of our day-to-day mix.
In therapy, clients develop more effective expectations by redefining their stresses and challenges, reduce emotional upset and distress by looking at their issues from a new angle, and feel empowered by trying new approaches to effective problem-solving. I would be pleased to walk this journey with you, to reduce stress and find a more satisfying approach to life.
Available appointments are those set aside specifically for intakes. I see clients through Grow Therapy on Monday and Tuesday. I cannot do letters, FMLA forms or provide disability opinions for clients who have not already been involved in therapy with me for at least several months. While I really enjoy working with individuals aged 65 and older, due to Medicare regulations, I cannot see traditional Medicare clients for self-pay. I can see those seniors with Medicare Replacement plans which are accepted by Grow Therapy. I only work with individuals, and do not do marital or family therapy.
Hi there, I'm Mary. Something I find myself saying often is: "it's hard to be human." Life brings so many ups and downs, and our own histories, genetics, circumstances, life events, etc. can impact how we find ourselves functioning from day to day. I am passionate about helping clients discover the tools and frameworks that work for them to meet their own identified goals for their life and decreasing the emotional intensity of symptoms causing barriers to meeting those goals.
In 2010, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master’s of Social Work and earned my license to practice independently in 2013. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Family & Child Sciences at Florida State University in 2005 and my Doctor of Philosophy in International Conflict Management at Kennesaw State University in 2017. (A bit of a random PhD, I know...my dissertation research was about the relationship between social identity and emotional well-being for service members and veterans in the context of community reintegration.)
I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and attachment-based therapy, along with somatic, mind-body, and expressive art therapy techniques to help clients heal, build resilience, and improve their well-being. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can gain practical skills to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

My approach is collaborative and person-centered, with a mix of reflection, practical tools, and a little humor when it feels right. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself while we work together toward meaningful change.
I truly believe people are capable of incredible growth when they feel seen, supported, and challenged in the right ways. My role isn't to tell you how to live your life—it's to help you better understand yourself, make choices that align with your values, and create a life that feels fulfilling. I love celebrating progress, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients recognize strengths they often don't see in themselves. At the end of the day, what motivates me most is helping people experience more joy, confidence, and connection in their everyday lives.

I am here because I want to help. I consider both my personal and professional life experience as invaluable in working with others. I believe people are "hard-wired" to live with authenticity and become the best version of themselves and I would enjoy helping you with that process. I have deep compassion for the human condition and it fuels my desire to help. Helping others let go of what interferes with life satisfaction, helping their authentic self thrive and live their best life is rewarding. I do not see people as broken, rather as being heroic in navigating life challenges with sometimes inadequate skills and patterns that arose out of their unique personal life story. I embrace the concept that we are on earth to have an opportunity to enjoy the incredible experiences life can offer and we are also capable of finding ways to reduce or eliminate suffering. By the grace of our creator I have been provided with life and experience to be able to offer my services. I look forward to supporting you with gentle guidance, increased confidence and heart in your journey forward. I would be grateful and honored to work with you.

Hi, I'm Marina! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I have a special interest in exploring how our childhood experiences shape the way we connect with others today and how mental health can influence the different versions of ourselves we show at work, with our families, and in our relationships.
My goal is to create a space where you can be honest, feel accepted, and explore who you are without judgment. I believe therapy doesn't have to be serious every second—we can acknowledge the weight of life's hardest moments while also making room for humor, self-compassion, and perspective. Together, we'll work on building healthy boundaries, improving communication, challenging unhelpful patterns, and developing greater self-acceptance so you can show up as the version of yourself that feels most authentic.
Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me with a good book, at the gym, watching Grey's Anatomy, or spending time with my two sweet nieces, who keep life fun and full of perspective.

I specialize in holding space for the deep-thinkers and cycle-breakers, the individuals who have spent a lifetime looking inward and dismantling generational patterns, yet still feel the friction of a world demanding 'more' at the expense of 'being.'

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients increase emotional awareness, improve coping, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life they want to build.
I work best with clients who are curious about themselves, open to learning new perspectives, and ready to actively participate in the therapeutic process. Together, we'll identify realistic goals, build on your existing strengths, and develop strategies that support lasting growth and emotional well-being.
Clients often report improved emotional regulation, stronger self-understanding, healthier relationships, and increased confidence. I aim to honor your story while helping you build resilience and practical tools for long-term growth.

I am a therapist that likes to set goals and work towards getting clients the changes they are seeking: To feel better and to see positive changes in their lives. We will begin by talking and processing the issues and then figuring out what would be most helpful. I believe in listening to what my clients need an developing an individualized approach for each person. Clients would describe me as warm, open, non-directive, and affirming. I ask lots of questions to create further exploration and insight. I believe that the client is the director of his/ her own life and the therapist is a facilitator to help them get to deeper truths within. I work with clients to uncover root causes and treat the deeper issues, not just the symptoms. We come away from sessions with a plan of action for improvement.

I truly saw the need for more mental health professionals in my community when I lost my father in 2006. Since that day, I began my journey of understanding the mind and how it works. We go through many major life transitions such as breakups, divorce, having children, new professions, loss of income, moving, pandemic stress and more. Most do not realize just how traumatic these seemingly “normal” events are to us at times.
I am here to help you if you feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, angry or confused concerning anything that has been thrown at you in your life. If you feel that what you are dealing with is too much to handle on your own, please reach out to me. We cannot stop this cycle of numbing or ignoring mental health issues in our world if we do not start within.
As a mental health advocate, I am here for you. I have seen the impact of a lack of relatable and accessible mental health programs and providers. I am here to be the bridge and get you the solutions, support, and guidance you need.
My philosophy towards Therapy is the following:
"The nice thing about things that are urgent is that if you wait long enough they aren’t urgent anymore.” --Dr. Amos Tversky The demands of modern society have created an environment in which every moment of every day seems to be urgent. This constant sense of urgency leads to stress, which in turn makes you feel overwhelmed and unfulfilled. You may feel like each day is no more than a series of crises and that you can’t keep up with everything. Finding your way out of this loop requires stepping outside of your daily routine and figuring out what really matters to you.
It takes a great deal of courage to seek help for oneself. I commend you for taking the first step towards improving your life and will stand by and encourage you along this journey together.
I'm Paige Whitten, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in community mental health, completing assessments and evaluations, providing support in school settings, inpatient settings, and now working in private practice. This varied experience has given me a well-rounded perspective on mental health and a deep appreciation for meeting people where they are, whether that's navigating diagnoses, supporting young people through developmental challenges, or helping adults create meaningful change in their lives.
I work primarily from a person-centered perspective, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. I also incorporate EMDR therapy, particularly for clients working through trauma, anxiety, or distressing memories.
Hello! My name is SheNetra Alexander, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with over nine years of experience providing therapy to adolescents and adults. I have extensive experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress management, substance use, and co-occurring mental health concerns.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and solution-focused. I believe every person has strengths they can build upon, and my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I tailor treatment to your unique needs by incorporating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered techniques.
For nearly two decades, I have dedicated my life to helping people navigate through their 'darkest days.' From their intricate journey of substance abuse recovery to managing long-term mental health needs, my goal has been to provide more than just support. I provide a roadmap back to self. My practice is built on a foundation of evidence-based clinical expertise and a deep, genuine empathy for the human experience. Meeting clients virtually, I remove the barriers to care, allowing us to focus entirely on your goals. I am a firm believer in the power of resilience, and nothing makes me prouder than watching my clients succeed and reclaim the lives they’ve envisioned for themselves.

Hi, I’m Nathan Popham, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of settings. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, and I enjoy helping clients build coping skills, improve relationships, process difficult experiences, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or wishing you could reconnect with the joy you once felt in your relationships and life? Balancing a career, marriage, and family can be deeply challenging, especially with today’s pressures. As someone who’s been married to my best friend for 40 years while raising well-adjusted children, I understand how stressful these roles can be. Many couples find themselves worn down by the lack of support from their partner or children, and the financial and emotional demands of daily life. Together, we can work to ease this strain and help you find direction and fulfillment again.
Hi, I’m Chanel! I am a licensed therapist passionate about helping women build confidence, strengthen their relationships, and create the life they truly want. I specialize in Solution-Focused Therapy, guiding clients to uncover their strengths and develop practical steps toward meaningful change. My approach is supportive, empowering, and designed to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. I believe, the answer is inside of you waiting to be uncovered.
Feeling disconnected from yourself or the life you’re living? I support clients seeking deeper self-understanding and liberation from patterns and identities that no longer serve them. In a compassionate, collaborative, and affirming space, we explore healing and empower you to create a life that feels aligned, authentic, intentional, and alive.
I prioritize communication that is open and self-expressive. I listen deeply, reflect what I hear, and offer feedback that supports insight and growth. This is a space where you don’t have to filter yourself, your voice and lived experience are welcome.
What matters most to you shapes our work. Together, we define your aspirations and translate them into meaningful, tangible change. Our focus is on integrating growth into your daily life so that transformation is not just understood, but embodied.
You may notice that some sessions are held off video or in a hybrid format. This is an intentional part of how I practice. As a neurodivergent clinician, not always being on video allows me to be more fully present, attuned, and grounded in the work. Many clients find this creates a more comfortable space to show up openly and authentically.
That said, I aim to meet clients where they are, and we can always discuss what session format feels most supportive for you.
Hi, I'm Dr. Ibbie! I help adults who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overthinking, people-pleasing, and relationship stress. If you find yourself constantly overanalyzing, seeking reassurance, struggling with boundaries, or reacting in ways that don't align with who you want to be, you're not alone.
My approach is attachment-based, practical, and action-oriented. Together, we'll uncover the deeper patterns driving these struggles while building the skills to regulate your nervous system, interrupt anxious spirals, and respond with greater confidence instead of reacting from fear or overwhelm. My goal is to help you create lasting change—not just inside the therapy room, but in your everyday relationships and life.
Hi, I’m Kaylee—and I help overwhelmed individuals find clarity, break limiting patterns, and build the confidence to create meaningful, lasting change. With my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, I specialize in transforming your biggest challenges into your greatest strengths. My passion is guiding clients from feeling stuck to feeling empowered and equipped for whatever life brings.
My own life journey has deeply influenced the way I show up as a therapist. Having personally navigated challenges with self-esteem, depression, and the pain of divorce, I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to rebuild when life doesn’t go as planned. These experiences have given me a deep sense of empathy and a genuine desire to walk alongside others as they work through their own struggles.
In my practice, I provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their emotions, rediscover their strengths, and learn practical tools for healing and growth. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and, when appropriate, Christian counseling principles to help individuals and couples find hope, balance, and renewed purpose. My goal is to help clients see that—even in life’s most difficult seasons—healing and transformation are possible.
With over 20+ years of experience, I am a therapist committed to helping individuals through life transitions. Life can often hand us things that we are not prepared for. Events that can lead to anxiety, depression, or an overall feeling of not knowing what to do or how to cope. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help my clients work through the twists and turns of life. I'm passionate about helping others find their way, being a nonjudgmental listener, and providing a safe space to share openly.
I’m Dr. Daren Waters, Sr., a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Empowerment Coach, and Counselor who helps individuals and couples move from conflict to clarity and from pain to purpose. For over two decades, I’ve guided clients through restoration, identity, and alignment, creating safe spaces where they can be heard, valued, and renewed. My heart is to help people rediscover hope, rebuild trust, and experience lasting growth in every area of life.
I believe that all people can benefit from support while identifying and changing thoughts and behaviors in ways that can better help them live their ideal lives. I hope to be a resource you can use to reach those goals and support you along the way, working together to create balance between acceptance and change. You'll likely experience me as warm, respectful, positive, and often solution-focused.
Licensed Psychotherapist | Culturally Sensitive | Trauma-Informed
Welcome, I’m Nubia.
Healing doesn’t happen overnight — but with the right support, it absolutely happens. Whether you're working through trauma, betrayal, anxiety, divorce, or simply feeling emotionally stuck, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity, strength, and care.
I work with adults navigating life transitions, stress, or emotional wounds that have been hard to process alone. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or unsure of how to break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we explore the deeper “why” behind those patterns — and create space for healing, resilience, and growth.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). These methods help us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — and how to gently shift the beliefs that keep you feeling stuck. But beyond technique, I lead with authenticity, compassion, and cultural awareness.
In our sessions, you’ll find a space that feels safe, honest, and judgment-free. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re returning to it, you are welcome exactly as you are.
Clients often tell me they feel more centered, more empowered, and more hopeful after working together. I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and virtual sessions, because healing should fit into real life.
If you’re ready to begin your journey — whether you’re clear on your goals or still figuring them out — I’d be honored to support you.
Let’s take the first step, together.
Warmly,
Nubia Anacius , MS,NBCC,LPC

I also generally give each of my clients a copy of these books (for free) as an additional resource for their journey.

With nearly three decades as a psychologist, I’ve learned that life is complex, but healing is always possible. Many of the people I work with are navigating anxiety, depression, or trauma that shows up in relationships, work, or long-standing family patterns. People often seek me out when they’re wanting relief from overthinking, ready to break old cycles, or wanting to feel more confident and grounded in themselves. In our work together, we make sense of how your history may be shaping your present, learn practical ways to manage your thoughts more effectively, and build healthier skills for moving forward.
I work extensively with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and the emotional strain that comes from being the “strong one” in their families or workplaces. I also specialize in supporting gay men and other LGBTQ+ adults. As a member of this community myself, I understand many of the experiences my clients bring in.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I create a warm, collaborative space where you can feel safe, understood, and maybe even a little lighter by the time you leave. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, we’ll work together to find clarity and build tools that make a meaningful difference in your day-to-day life.
Hello! I’m Morgan. Life can be messy, complicated, and overwhelming, and sometimes we all need a little extra help to sort through it. I’m really glad you’re here, because you deserve a space where you feel seen, supported, and understood.
At the heart of my work is a deep respect for your story, resilience, and capacity for change. Together, we can explore what’s been weighing on you and take steps toward your next chapter.
Whether we work together or not, I truly appreciate you taking the time to consider therapy and care for yourself. It’s never too late or too soon to begin!
