Hi, I’m Brooke, a licensed therapist. I specialize in helping adults navigate life transitions, particularly those stepping into independence after college. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns of self-doubt, I’m here to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to your own goals and values. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and tailored to what you need most in therapy. Whether it’s through exploring your thoughts with CBT, practicing acceptance with ACT, or processing deeper experiences through EMDR, I’ll walk alongside you as you work toward the life you want.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe and heard. We’ll start by talking about what’s been bringing you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. You won’t need to have all the answers—this is your time, and we’ll move at your pace. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and share a bit about how I approach therapy so we can work collaboratively.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can share openly. I’m compassionate and genuinely invested in helping you feel understood. I also balance support with gentle encouragement, helping you stretch just enough to grow without feeling overwhelmed. My training in multiple therapeutic approaches gives me tools to meet your unique needs, whether we’re challenging unhelpful thoughts, exploring acceptance, or processing deeper trauma.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with clients who are navigating life changes. You might find yourself questioning your path, worrying about how others perceive you, or feeling like you’re not measuring up to your own high standards. My ideal clients are often kind and generous to others but struggle to extend the same grace to themselves. They may feel exhausted from second-guessing their decisions or trying to live up to others’ expectations. I also work with clients managing anxiety or depression, helping them challenge unhelpful thoughts, set boundaries, and explore what matters most to them.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and use it to help client process trauma and to help them deal with symptoms of anxiety and depression

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to look at a client's self-talk and help them challenge unhelpful thought patterns

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I really incorporate acceptance into my treatment, especially when it comes to anxiety. Accepting things we can't change can have a lot of power.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use this sometimes for client's that have specific fears or strong anxiety.
