About me

I’m the founder of Therapise, where I offer warm, relational, and collaborative therapy. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I listen closely and create space for you to feel understood, while also asking thoughtful questions, noticing patterns, and offering gentle challenges. Together, we’ll explore what is holding you back and work toward meaningful, realistic goals at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is more than an intake. It’s an opportunity for us to connect, discuss what brings you in, and begin identifying the goals you’d like to work toward. We’ll collaborate on a plan that feels meaningful, realistic, and tailored to your needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m warm, curious, and genuinely invested in the people I work with. I’ll give you space to talk and feel heard, but I won’t just sit quietly. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, and gently challenge you when it may help. We’ll work together to understand what matters to you and set goals that feel meaningful and realistic. My own life experiences, both the difficult ones and the meaningful ones, have taught me the importance of feeling truly seen and heard. They’ve helped me become more open-minded, grounded, and compassionate, without assuming I know exactly what someone else is going through. I bring that perspective into each session by meeting people with curiosity, honesty, and respect.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client may be dealing with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, identity or multicultural concerns, or a major life transition. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves and want a better understanding of their patterns. They don’t need to have anything figured out, just a willingness to be curious, honest, and open to working together toward meaningful change.
