New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and everyday life stressors. I take a practical, down-to-earth approach to therapy, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My work focuses on helping clients better understand their thoughts and emotions while building effective tools to manage challenges, strengthen boundaries, and feel more confident and in control of their daily lives.
The first session is typically very conversational and focused on getting to know you. I’ll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, while also giving you space to share at your own pace. This is a time for us to build rapport and make sure we’re a good fit. We’ll also begin identifying initial goals so you can leave with a clear sense of direction and next steps.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with clients in a real and relatable way. I understand how overwhelming anxiety and stress can feel, which helps me show up with both empathy and practical support. I focus on creating a space where clients feel comfortable and understood, while also helping them build tools they can actually use in their everyday lives. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and focused on making meaningful, lasting changes.
I strive to help adults and adolescents manage anxiety, depression, and ADHD while also working through life stressors, strengthening boundaries, and improving self-esteem. My approach focuses on helping clients build practical, effective tools to manage daily challenges, improve communication and relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. I also work with clients to strengthen their sense of self-worth and confidence, empowering them to set boundaries, make intentional decisions, and feel more in control of their day-to-day lives. Together, we work toward meaningful, sustainable change that aligns with each client’s values and goals.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) to guide clients in learning how to accept difficult internal experiences while staying grounded in their values. I often use mindfulness techniques and values-based exercises to support clients in making meaningful changes, while also validating their thoughts and emotions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also introduce and teach coping skills to help clients manage anxiety, depression, and stress in their day-to-day lives.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients identify their strengths and build on what is already working in their lives by meeting them where they are. Together, we set achievable goals and recognize and celebrate progress along the way
