Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgemental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. In out first sessions we will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, relevant history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and achievable for you. Therapy is not about "fixing" you- it is about helping you understand yourself more deeply, build resilience, and create lasting change. At times you will feel challenged, but you will always be supported. You set the pace, and we adjust as your needs evolve.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, empathy, and a nonjudgemental presence to every session, helping clients feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences. I am skilled in evidence-based approaches, including grief-informed care, ACT, attachment-focused therapy and many several others. My ability to integrate clinical expertise with compassion and faith sensitivity allows me to guide clients toward healing, resilience and meaningful growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical skills to manage emotions, reduce anxiety, and improve daily functioning. Together, we focus on realistic strategies that create meaningful, lasting change.

Faith based therapy

I believe true healing involves the whole person. In faith-based therapy, we can incorporate your spiritual beliefs as a foundation for growth, resilience, and emotional wellness. I provide a nonjudgmental environment where you can process struggles, rebuild strength, and reconnect with purpose while using practical tools to improve daily functioning and well-being.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy provides compassionate support after the loss of a loved one or major life change. I offer a safe space to process painful emotions and assist clients with adjusting to life without what was lost, and find ways to move forward while still honoring your connection and memories.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy helps you develop healthier ways to relate to difficult thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or avoiding them. I used ACT by focusing on mindfulness, self-compassion, and taking meaningful action guided by your values so you can live a fuller, more purposeful life.

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy explores how early relationships and life experiences shape current emotional patterns, self-worth, and connections with others. I use this approach to help you build a stronger sense of security, improved relationships, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and those around you.
