Do you find yourself replaying conversations with your partner, wondering how the same argument keeps happening no matter how hard you try? Maybe trust has been broken, you feel lonely even when you’re together, or you’re exhausted from being the one trying to hold the relationship together. Or maybe the relationship you’re struggling with is the one you have with yourself—past trauma, anxiety, or painful experiences keep showing up in your life even when you’ve tried hard to move forward. I work with adults and couples who are tired of feeling stuck in the same painful patterns and want more than someone who simply listens. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space while also being an active therapist who offers honest feedback, helps you recognize patterns, and gives you practical tools to create meaningful change. I also have a special interest in women’s and reproductive mental health. If you’re trying to conceive, struggling with infertility, grieving a pregnancy loss, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, or finding motherhood harder than you expected, you don’t have to carry that experience alone.
You won’t spend your first session simply answering intake questions while I take notes. I want to understand what life feels like for you right now, what isn’t working, and what you want to change. We’ll begin identifying the patterns underneath what you’re experiencing, and I’ll offer feedback and direction from the start. My goal is for you to leave feeling genuinely understood and clearer about where we go from here.
Clients often describe me as warm, accepting, direct, and easy to talk to. Creating a space where you feel safe and genuinely understood is very important to me, but I also believe therapy should offer more than a place to talk. I’m an active and engaged therapist who provides thoughtful feedback, asks meaningful questions, and helps clients recognize patterns that can be difficult to see from inside their own experiences. I balance compassion with honesty and believe that some of the most valuable moments in therapy happen when you feel supported enough to look at something from a different perspective. I also provide practical tools and strategies when appropriate, so our work can translate into meaningful changes outside of our sessions. Most importantly, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I tailor therapy to the individual or couple in front of me, their experiences, personality, relationships, goals, and what they need from therapy.
My ideal clients are adults and couples who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in painful patterns, or ready for something in their lives or relationships to change. You may be navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, betrayal or infidelity, trauma or PTSD, grief, or a major life transition. I also have a special interest in working with women through infertility and trying to conceive, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, and the transition to motherhood. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—just a willingness to be open, curious, and work toward meaningful change.

I am mindful of the ways our traumas and past experiences impact our experiences and the lens with which we see the world in the present.
Most people tend to have an easier time having compassion for others than they do for themselves. I work with clients to improve their level of compassion for themselves along with having a greater compassion for others. Move from being your own worst enemy to being able to treat yourself like you would treat someone else who was struggling.
In our busy and chaotic lives it can be easy to get lost in everything that's going wrong, and even fixate on what has happened in the past, or worry about the future. In doing this we miss what is happening in the present moment. Mindfulness helps to connect with what you're thinking and feeling and experiencing in the present moment. I help clients to identify this in session as well as apply it to their day to day lives.
I help clients to better understand their emotions by identifying where they come from and what they choose to do when certain emotions are experienced. Often times people fall into certain patterns both with themselves and their relationships others, and I help clients to identify what this looks and feels like to them while finding paths to create healthier patterns. This works well with people who have experienced trauma as well as people who have not.
Grief, whether it be the loss of a person by death, or the loss of a relationship, job, or even vision of your life, can be very complex and its an honor to walk through those complexities and to help clients identify and process all of the thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to their grieving process. Grief is not linear and I meet clients where they are in their grieving process.
