I’m a licensed clinical social worker specializing in trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and attachment-based therapy, along with somatic, mind-body, and expressive art therapy techniques to help clients heal, build resilience, and improve their well-being. My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients can gain practical skills to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, discuss your goals, and begin identifying strengths and challenges. I’ll provide a safe, supportive space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we’ll outline a plan tailored to your needs, so you leave with a sense of direction and clarity. Depending on your preferences, we may also explore gentle mind-body techniques to help ground and regulate emotions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I bring a calm, compassionate, and practical approach to therapy, helping clients feel heard and supported while also providing actionable strategies for change. My background in trauma-informed care allows me to address deep-rooted challenges with sensitivity and skill. I integrate cognitive, somatic, and expressive therapies, tailoring sessions to meet each person’s unique needs. By blending evidence-based techniques with creative and body-centered approaches, I help clients reconnect with themselves and move toward healing in a way that feels natural and empowering.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with individuals who feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, stress, or past trauma and are looking for practical tools to move forward. My ideal clients want to improve emotional regulation, build self-confidence, and develop healthier relationships. They are open to learning new coping strategies and ready to take steps toward lasting change. Those who benefit most from my approach are curious about the mind-body connection and interested in integrating creative or somatic practices into their healing journey.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I use attachment-based treatment to help individuals and families understand how early relationships influence emotions, behaviors, and connections. I focus on fostering secure attachments by building trust, improving emotional regulation, and enhancing communication. This approach supports clients in processing past relational wounds, developing healthier connections, and navigating relationships in a trauma-informed way.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people handle difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them take over. I guide clients in focusing on what truly matters to them and taking actions that align with their values. Through mindfulness and acceptance strategies, I support them in building resilience, reducing stress, and creating a more fulfilling life.

EMDR

I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help people process and heal from past trauma. By guiding clients through structured phases of reprocessing, I help them reduce the emotional distress tied to difficult memories. This approach allows them to reframe negative thoughts, feel more in control, and move forward with greater confidence and peace.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people recognize and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. I guide clients in identifying patterns that contribute to stress or distress and work with them to develop healthier ways of thinking and coping. This approach helps build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and create positive changes in daily life.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help people manage emotions, build healthier relationships, and cope with stress more effectively. I teach skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. This approach helps clients develop balance in their thoughts and behaviors, improve self-awareness, and navigate challenges with greater confidence.
