New to Grow
Welcome to FaithWorks Therapy! I provide virtual therapy for adults, couples, and families across Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, New Jersey, Nevada, Georgia, and Illinois. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, grief, relationship challenges, family conflict, and life transitions in a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. My approach is tailored to your unique needs and goals, empowering you to build healthier relationships, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Faith-based counseling is available upon request for those who wish to incorporate their Christian faith into therapy, but it is always optional and never required.
Have you ever had a therapy session where the therapist takes up the whole time asking checklists for their notes or talks more about themselves then they listen? Not here! The first session, and every session after is always about you, your thoughts and feelings, and the impact any struggles have on you. My biggest questions will be what brings you to therapy and how can I make this experience best serve you! Feel free to visit www.FaithWorksTherapy.com to learn more.
I am genuinely interested in what you have to say, how you feel and what you think. My strengths include loving my career as a therapist, believing that this is my purpose in life and genuinely wanting to help you as best as I can. I provide a listening ear when you want, alternative perspectives to think about the same situation, homework if you desire it and psychoeducation in session about anxiety, depression, coping skills, grief, parenting, marriage, relationships...you name it, we always explore ways to learn in session. My grandmother would always say, "When you know better, you can do better." I take her words to heart.
Anyone, any age struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting issues, marital issues, family conflicts, women's issues, husband/wives interested in learning to be biblical husbands and wives, stress, burnout, boundary struggles, assertiveness/saying no more, work-life balance, finding life's purpose, curiosity about Christ, desiring to learn about self-love, self-compassion, origins of self-hate, family genograms and starting from your earliest memory, just wanting to vent or talk or have an accountability person to help you stay focused on your goals, someone needing a therapist because they struggle with social anxiety or isolation etc.

Faith based therapy
I named my practice FaithWorks because it reflects two core beliefs that guide my approach to therapy. First, as a Christian, I believe that faith in God—even faith as small as a mustard seed—can bring hope, healing, growth, and meaningful change. Second, I believe that many people come to therapy having lost faith in themselves, in their relationships, or in the possibility that life can improve. Part of the therapeutic process is helping clients rediscover hope, build resilience, and believe that change is possible. When clients choose faith-based counseling, I thoughtfully integrate their Christian beliefs into treatment by incorporating scripture, prayer (when desired), biblical principles, and discussions of how their faith can support healing and personal growth. My goal is to meet clients where they are, honoring both their clinical needs and their spiritual values. For clients who prefer a secular approach, I provide the same evidence-based, compassionate care without incorporating faith, ensuring that every client receives treatment that aligns with their preferences and goals.
Grief Therapy
In grief therapy, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can process the pain of loss at their own pace. Grief can involve the death of a loved one, miscarriage or infertility, divorce, relationship loss, foster or adoption disruptions, loss of health, or major life transitions. Rather than rushing clients toward "moving on," I help them acknowledge their emotions, make meaning of their experiences, and learn to carry their loss in a way that allows them to continue living a fulfilling life. For clients who desire a faith-based approach, I incorporate Christian principles, scripture, prayer, and conversations about hope, purpose, and God's presence in suffering. We may explore difficult questions about faith, wrestle with anger or doubt, and identify how their beliefs can provide comfort and strength throughout the grieving process. Faith is integrated only at the client's request, and I always respect each person's beliefs, values, and preferences.
