About me

My own life journey has deeply influenced the way I show up as a therapist. Having personally navigated challenges with self-esteem, depression, and the pain of divorce, I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to rebuild when life doesn’t go as planned. These experiences have given me a deep sense of empathy and a genuine desire to walk alongside others as they work through their own struggles. In my practice, I provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can process their emotions, rediscover their strengths, and learn practical tools for healing and growth. I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and, when appropriate, Christian counseling principles to help individuals and couples find hope, balance, and renewed purpose. My goal is to help clients see that—even in life’s most difficult seasons—healing and transformation are possible.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a sense of safety and trust. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together, and any concerns or goals you’d like to focus on. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is simply a space for you to talk openly and be heard without judgment. During our conversation, I’ll also share a bit about my approach, answer any questions you might have about the therapy process, and work with you to begin shaping a plan that feels comfortable and realistic. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, understood, and hopeful that change is possible. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or a couple, I want you to know you’re not alone—and that this is a safe place to begin your healing journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What clients often tell me stands out about our work together is the warmth, authenticity, and genuine care they feel in each session. My approach blends professional expertise with real-life understanding—I know what it’s like to walk through seasons of pain, self-doubt, and change, and that personal insight helps me connect deeply with the people I serve.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with individuals and couples who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Many of my clients are navigating major life transitions—such as divorce, relationship struggles, or shifts in identity and self-worth—and are seeking guidance to rebuild confidence and rediscover a sense of purpose. I’m especially drawn to supporting those who struggle with low self-esteem, depression, or anxiety, and who want to understand the patterns of thinking and behavior that keep them from feeling whole. Whether you’re a man or woman working to heal from past pain, strengthen your faith, or improve your relationships, my approach is compassionate, practical, and rooted in both professional expertise and personal understanding. My goal is to help you move from simply surviving to truly thriving—developing greater self-awareness, peace, and hope along the way

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals and couples navigate life’s transitions—whether that’s coping with divorce, rebuilding self-esteem, or managing symptoms of depression and anxiety. I appreciate how CBT empowers clients to recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. With individuals, I often focus on helping them challenge self-critical beliefs and rediscover a sense of confidence and purpose. With couples, I use CBT techniques to improve communication, interrupt unhelpful interaction patterns, and foster empathy and understanding. It’s deeply rewarding to witness clients gain insight, strengthen their relationships, and begin to thrive both personally and together.

Christian Counseling

As a Christian counselor, I integrate faith-based principles with therapeutic approaches to help men, women, and couples find healing and direction. I’ve worked with individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, guilt, relationship conflict, and life transitions, helping them draw strength from their faith while developing practical coping skills. With couples, I incorporate biblical values of grace, forgiveness, and communication to help them rebuild trust and deepen their emotional and spiritual connection. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore both their struggles and their faith as part of the healing process.
