Greetings and salutation, I'm Jason. Do you feel like you've been struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction or just simply feel lost and not knowing what direction you want to take in life. Let me offer some refreshing words and say that, you aren't alone. As an Existential/Psychodynamic psychotherapist, my primary focus is to offer a safe place for us to explore the dynamics of your inner self. I work with range of clients whom suffer from substance abuse, anxiety, depression along with individuals seeking meaning, purpose and connection to their beautifully unique and authentic Self. The space we build together is safe, sacred and judgement free so we can explore the deepest aspects of you. The goal is to help guide you in your search for meaning, in whatever way that might look like for you. Whether you are searching for coping skills to manage your anxiety, depression, why you use substances to cope or seeking the root of whatever unresolved emotions that are creating conflict in or may be present in your life.
Therapy can be sometimes be a long process, and rightly so. Connecting with someone by being vulnerable and open about some of your deepest aspects of yourself can be scary. Therapy with me is whatever it needs to be. Previous clients of mine have shared how their work with me was honest, authentic, professional and compassionate. We can roam whatever space necessary for us to hone in and focus on whatever it is that seems to be the conflict in your life. My hope and expectation is that you feel heard, safe, guided and understood as we navigate through the dynamics of Self.
Strengths of mine are my passion to connect and engage with my clients, knowing that we are embarking on a relationship that's completely uniquely, sacred and authentic to us. I've been fortunate to have trained along some of the best psychotherapists, and in an array of different settings that have allowed me to understand the full spectrum of the field of counseling and psychotherapy. Through my work in the field of dual diagnosis, with an emphasis on addiction I gained enough attention in the felid that allowed me and my work to be featured in a collegiate textbook to be used for 1st year Master level students studying addiction counseling.
I have specialized in the Existential/Psychodynamic approach with clients struggling with dual diagnosis. More of a philosophy than an actual methods, core principles revolve around accountability, freedom, value and self worth.
