Hello! Welcome to my page! I’m Yisook, a Clinical Social Worker with 23 years of counseling experience supporting diverse individuals and families. I hold deep respect for the uniqueness of every client and I approach each therapeutic relationship with authenticity, curiosity, and openness.
I believe strongly in human resilience and in each person’s inherent capacity for healing. Every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and together—through a strong therapeutic alliance—we can navigate difficulties and move toward a thriving, fulfilling life.
Hi, I’m Colette, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I know starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I’m glad you’re here. I provide a calm, supportive space where you can feel safe to share your story and begin making sense of what you’re going through.
Grief work is at the heart of my practice. Whether you’re coping with the loss of a loved one, a major life change, or a more personal kind of loss, I’m here to support you. I also work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, maternal mental health, and life transitions.
In our work together, we’ll explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. We can look at patterns from the past, while also building tools to help you manage the present. I use mindfulness and CBT techniques to support you in understanding your thoughts and finding ways to cope with stress. In grief work, we may also create meaningful rituals or practices to honor your loved ones while caring for yourself. I believe it’s possible to hold both pain and joy, and I will support you in finding that balance.
If you feel ready, I invite you to take the next step and schedule an appointment. I would be honored to work with you.
Hi, I’m Judy, and I’m glad you’re here. I work with adults and seniors, to help navigate life’s transitions and challenges while providing support in creating a fulfilling, balanced life.
If you are experiencing major life changes, adjustment periods, uncertainty, loss, or feeling overwhelmed. Together, we can build strength and resilience, create greater clarity, and develop your ability to manage emotions-- always at a pace that feels right for you.
Reaching out for support can feel both daunting and courageous, and I would be honored to be part of your journey.
When life's challenges - work, relationships, money troubles, illness or injury become too much to manage, or when the pain of the past pops up when you least expect it to disrupt sleep, or when daily stressors build up and make it hard to cope, that's when more than a friendly ear is needed. That's when a professional can help you heal the compounding effects of life experiences.
If you are seeking long-term relief from anxiety, trauma, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief or loss, I will help you heal those emotional injuries that compound over a lifetime and make life lose its meaning. And I will empower you to heal the emotional pain that is preventing you from living your best life.
I’m a Latina therapist supporting high-functioning women navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions. Many of my clients are used to being the “strong one” for others while feeling overwhelmed internally. I create a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself. You are here for that sense of belonging & connection, especially when multiple global crises have left communities hopeless, and in a constant state of vigilance. While some anxiety/depression is a normal response to the hyper-violence we are facing as a collective (on screens or in reality), it can feel extremely overwhelming to experience this every day, on top of expectations from work, family, and other relationships. As a child of the Lao Isaan/Southeast Asian diaspora, my passion is working with fellow children of refugee/immigrant diasporas to feel seen + heard + validated through an anti-oppressive framework.
I am a dedicated psychotherapist committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges, improve emotional well-being, and foster personal growth. My name is Dr. Mahsa Emily Mafee, and I also go by Emily; I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and also have my doctorate degree; For the past twenty years; I have worked with a wide range of population of clients; I view therapy as a collaborative and multifaceted journey; Therapy can be painful and messy, but also a rewarding experience; It can become be the ultimate path that brings a sense of transformation, healing, and enlightenment;
I am bilingual, fluent in both English and Farsi (Persian), and can conduct therapy in both languages; I am also an immigrant who moved to the U.S at a young age; This has given me the advantage to be exposed to two different cultures, and has helped shape my overall outlook and perspective when working with clients; It has made me a stronger person, and has definitely made me a better psychotherapist that in how I conceptualize diversity and how I relate and connect to people from different backgrounds;
My journey to becoming a therapist started 29 years ago on a personal recovery journey, recovering from personal trauma and addiction in the entire system growing up including family, and coming from a low SES background, therapy became a way to reconcile the change I was going through in my life. Working with and helping others has always been a calling of mine, and becoming a therapist was a natural extension of that ongoing work on both myself and in my work with others.
Beginning with a humanistic approach means meeting the client where they are at, and then conceptualizing the approach with a combination of humanistic and positive psychology, systems theory, and recovery-oriented systems of care.
I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist with a deep passion for human stories — stories of courage, resilience, healing, and change. I bring warmth, curiosity, and humor into the therapy space, and I aim to create a relationship that feels welcoming, attuned, and supportive.
I work with thoughtful, motivated, and often creative adults who may appear to have it all together on the outside, but carry a lot beneath the surface. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, or burnout, while others come feeling creatively blocked, disconnected from purpose, or unsure of what wants to come next. Some arrive with a quieter sense that something meaningful wants attention — a desire to understand themselves more deeply and feel more present and alive.
Over time, you may begin to notice familiar patterns in how you relate to yourself and the world. These patterns may show up as perfectionism, constant striving, intellectualizing, or people-pleasing — ways of coping that once made sense in earlier family, cultural, or relational environments, but over time can lead to exhaustion, disconnection, or a sense of not fully being yourself.
In therapy, I offer a space to slow down and listen inward. We work at a pace that honors the wisdom of your nervous system, gently exploring patterns while also strengthening your capacity for grounding, connection, and self-trust. Alongside the deeper work, there is room for play, creativity, and moments of wonder — for reconnecting with what brings meaning, pleasure, and aliveness. My hope is to support and empower you in moving toward a more meaningful, authentic, and joyful life.
Hello, my name is Miaisha. Are you seeking a supportive space where you can be authentic and receive meaningful guidance? If so, you have come to the right place. I believe everyone deserves an environment where they feel heard, understood, and genuinely supported.
I am a compassionate and culturally responsive Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, manage stressors, and develop greater self-awareness. I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and affirming space where your experiences are acknowledged and respected, while fostering growth in confidence, resilience, and meaningful, lasting change.
I invite you to take the first step toward your well-being. You do not have to navigate this process alone. In our work together, you will be encouraged to take an active and empowered role in your therapeutic journey, while I provide guidance, clinical insight, and ongoing support. Together, we will develop a path forward that honors your unique experiences and aligns with your personal goals.

In therapy, we focus on understanding these patterns and where they come from, while building self-trust, stronger boundaries, and more confidence in your decisions. My approach is relational and person-centered, and I see people as whole humans, not diagnoses.

Hello and welcome. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I believe therapy can be a meaningful step toward restoring balance, reconnecting with joy, and living a more fulfilling life.
I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and bring over 13 years of clinical experience across in-home services, outpatient clinics, and telehealth. I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief and loss, chronic health concerns, and major life transitions.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. My approach is warm and collaborative, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, Psychoeducation, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and well-being. As a bilingual therapist with a multicultural perspective, I bring compassion, cultural sensitivity, and care to each session.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or seeking greater balance, I am here to walk alongside you. Together, we can work toward meaningful change and greater emotional well-being.

She effectively supports clients working through past trauma and finding resolve and peace within themselves, which is crucial to individual mental health and functionality. Inclusivity and remaining culturally sensitive to patients are of utmost importance to her.
Dr. Charness has also contributed to several books, including Voices of Pain, Voices of Hope, Students Speak About Racism, and Learning Through Discussion. Her most recent passion is her blog on Psychology Today (under law and crime) regarding the intersection of law and mental health. She focuses primarily on how legal rulings can impact our mental health, motive, trauma-informed interrogation, and investigation, particularly in domestic violence and sexual assault cases, and the failings of both the legal and mental health systems. Teaching about the realities of what life looks like inside the courtroom for a victim of domestic violence or rape, whether it be to a classroom of students or an audience of readers, is incredibly important to her.
