Conditions like trauma (PTSD, complex trauma), depression, anxiety, chronic illness, addictions, attention deficit hyperactivity/ disorder, and Bipolar can be addressed since they often lead to feeling like life can be difficult. Facing these emotional conditions may bring up difficult challenges for you. Difficult relationships, intergenerational trauma, childhood trauma, relational stress, abuse, grief, loss, low self-esteem, the cycle of life transitions, and co-dependency issues can impact the quality of life. After meeting you and conducting a evaluation of your emotional needs, an individualized care plan will be constructed based off your goals, and current challenges. You will be provided immediate assistance in learning coping skills to address your emotional discomforts as soon as possible.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I have experience utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solutions-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, positive psychology approaches, and mindfulness practices. Client's can expect to learn effective tools to utilize such as cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, behavior activation, and others to address their emotional distress.

I approach therapy from a client-centered approach. I have a background in knowing about various community resources to be able to offer to my clients. I have experience in providing clients with counseling services from a bilingual/bicultural approach practicing cultural humility. Utilizing this approach, clients can expect to develop their true authentic self and gain a sense of life satisfaction.
