My practice is focused on a client-centered, humanistic approach that encompasses the treatment of individuals as a whole person. My approach offers a calming and non-judgemental environment to allow the space to explore different pathways to healing. I integrate interventions from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral therapy, mindfulness and person-centered therapy as well as solution-focused therapy. I try to empower clients to draw on natural strengths for motivation and to develop resilience towards change so that they can continue to grow and heal. I focus on replacing negative coping skills with healthy stress management so that my clients can feel empowered, embrace change and lead fulfilling lives.
Life is ever-evolving, and sometimes we need a partner to help us navigate its changing tides. Together, we will focus on building your resilience and capacity for whatever comes next. Our work is practical and action-oriented; we'll identify tangible coping skills you can apply to your daily life, while working to shift negative self-talk into a more supportive mindset. I believe the best work happens in an environment of trust, which is why I always welcome feedback and invite a spirit of shared accountability in our sessions.
As a clinician, I am dedicated to achieving results for my clients. I believe my clients can find their best solutions, and my job is to help them navigate towards these goals. I take a collaborative approach, working together with my clients to explore and distinguish difficult emotions and their underlying story. Once my client has a good understanding of where they’ve been and where they are, we can work together to plot a course towards where they want to me.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I received my Masters degree in Social Work and have been practicing for 6 years. I'm a therapist specializing in helping people manage anxiety, cope with grief, work stress, adoption, etc. I teach practical coping skills and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients challenge negative thought patterns, reduce anxiety and process their grief in a healthy way.
Hi, hello, howdy! Fancy seeing you here.
I suppose this is the part where I share if you'd be my "optimal client" but I would rather let you decide if you feel like I would be your “optimal" therapist.
My therapeutic focus is increasing awareness of environments and everyday situations, opening one’s perception of life choices, and intensifying feelings of empowerment and liberation in our work together. My ACT/Solution- Focused style is interactive and fun while honoring my client’s relationships, helping them discover what is truly needed from these relationships and inspiring them to live authentically.
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 5 years of experience in providing mental health services. I have a B.S. in Social Work from Sacramento State and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of San Francisco. I am certified in Mental Health Nutrition via PESI, and have training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, as well as Trauma Focused-CBT.
I’ve had the privilege of working in community mental health (2 years), a group practice setting (2 years), and in a university health center (currently for over 1 year now) with a very wide variety of age ranges, presenting concerns, and communities. I feel that these experiences have given me a broad and rich overview of the human experience across the lifespan and have made me a better practitioner.
Currently, I am an LMFT at CSU Sacramento in their health & wellness center on-campus supporting college students with their mental health, and conducting telehealth private practice via Grow during the evenings Monday-Thursday.
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
I have over 13 years of experience in behavioral health and residential treatment, including more than 10 years working in addiction recovery and nearly six years providing psychotherapy. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions.
Clients often describe me as compassionate, genuine, calm, and direct. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to be honest and challenged enough to grow. My approach is collaborative and practical—I strive to help you better understand yourself while building the skills and confidence to create lasting change.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, and narrative therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Whether you're working to heal from past experiences, strengthen your relationships, overcome addiction, or simply feel more like yourself again, I'll meet you where you are and walk alongside you throughout the process. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change that supports the life you want to live.

Synchronize your heart and mind; so you can harmonize your life. When we are being pulled in thousands of different directions by our minds, it's important for us to ground in ourselves. It's important for you to connect to your heart and see what it needs. That's when you can find the bliss and harmony that you've longed for in life. Your life is a story to be told, and I am excited to hear it.
In the course of my career, my heart has been touched by at least three thousand individuals who honored me with their stories of love, loss, trauma, and a deeper a need for understanding who he/she is. I love working with clients who are ready to be challenged and identify blind spots in their lives. Many of my clients are therapists themselves or work in the field of healing. We create an individualized therapeutic plan and strategy based on your comfort and pace. We move gradually but quickly to address what changes you want to implement in your life. Most sessions are active, rather than passive. Yet, the therapeutic space belongs to the client. You get to dictate and tell your story at your pace.

Do you find yourself putting everyone else's needs before your own?
Perhaps you are the responsible one in your family—the person others depend on for support, and stability. You may appear successful on the outside, yet internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, or exhausted from carrying responsibilities that never seem to end. Maybe you struggle to set boundaries without guilt, find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns, or wonder why you work so hard yet still feel like you're falling short. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone.
For over 20 years, I have helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and grief. Many of the clients I work with are high-achieving adults, adult children of immigrant parents, and individuals who have spent years taking care of others while neglecting their own emotional needs. Often, the struggles we experience as adults are connected to lessons we learned early in life. We may have learned to stay strong, avoid conflict, meet expectations, or prioritize everyone else's needs before our own. While these patterns may have helped us survive difficult circumstances, they can later contribute to anxiety, burnout, resentment, and difficulties in relationships. Over the years, I have learned that growth is not about becoming someone else. It is about understanding ourselves more fully, letting go of patterns that no longer serve us, and creating relationships that reflect who we are today. I believe meaningful change begins with awareness, compassion, and courage. Therapy is not about becoming someone different. It is about reconnecting with who you are beneath the pressure, expectations, and self-doubt.
You deserve relationships that feel authentic, a life that aligns with your values, and the freedom to care for yourself with the same kindness you so freely offer others.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, life transitions and relationship challenges. I believe therapy is a journey inward—one that honors the mind, heart, and spirit. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and their Best Self: the part of you that is grounded in clarity, resilience, and compassion. At any stage of life, your Best Self remains present—offering wisdom, healing, and the possibility of deep inner peace even in the presence of deep pain or long-standing challenges.
I hold a Master of Arts in Spiritual and Counseling Psychology and have trained in grief and loss, community mental health, psychiatric settings, and addiction treatment. In my private practice, I am deeply committed to creating a safe, shame-free, and growth-oriented space that honors each client’s unique healing process.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, relational, and grounded in deep caring and lived experience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to identify and shift unhelpful patterns; mindfulness and acceptance-based practices to cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion; and humanistic and spiritual perspectives that invite exploration of meaning, authenticity, and purpose.
Therapy is a collaborative process. Together we work in a compassionate space to reconnect with your Best Self—honoring a lifetime of experience while cultivating peace, resilience, and self-compassion in all seasons of life.

You are here for that sense of belonging & connection, especially when multiple global crises have left communities hopeless, and in a constant state of vigilance. While some anxiety/depression is a normal response to the hyper-violence we are facing as a collective (on screens or in reality), it can feel extremely overwhelming to experience this every day, on top of expectations from work, family, and other relationships. As a child of the Lao Isaan/Southeast Asian diaspora, my passion is working with fellow children of refugee/immigrant diasporas to feel seen + heard + validated through an anti-oppressive framework.
I have experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and adults experiencing acute emotional distress or psychiatric episodes. I also understand the Latinx and first-generation experience. I grew up learning the power of strength and resilience, but also how easily we forget to care for ourselves. That's part of what inspired me to become a therapist. I understand that you are carrying a lot, sometimes from past generations. It's okay to reach out for help. I can help you navigate through generational trauma, cultural identity struggles, and the internal tension between honoring family sacrifices and pursuing personal independence. I can also help you navigate life transitions, grief and loss, and family conflict. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I offer a warm, collaborative space for you to seek deeper understanding and meaningful change. Healing happens in connection with others, and together we can cultivate the path toward growth, resilience, and wholeness. Healing is not only possible, but it's also a brave and powerful thing to do.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from trying to keep it all together? You don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m Matthew C. Volzer, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and 12 years helping individuals, couples, and families create lasting change through evidence-based therapy. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, or the emotional weight of past trauma.
My approach is practical, compassionate, and results-oriented. Drawing from CBT, trauma-focused therapy, and family systems work, I’ll help you understand the patterns that keep you stuck and give you tools to move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re looking to quiet your inner critic, build stronger relationships, or simply feel more like yourself again—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
If you’re ready to start feeling better and make meaningful changes in your life, I’d be honored to work with you.
Reaching out for help can be a very vulnerable experience, but also a great attribute of strength and resilience. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma in their life. Whether it's from childhood neglect, sexual assault, natural disaster, sudden death or other life circumstances. Trauma often creates patterns and loops that extend into many areas of a person's life, and can be challenging and painful to navigate. Sometimes the way people survive their trauma brings them more pain, adds to the chaos, and reinforces negative beliefs that perpetuate the cycle. I work to empower clients to understand and alter unhealthy cycles to strengthen and better their lives.
I am fluent in ASL American Sign Language and have worked with Deaf clients leaving domestic violence in both a shelter and outpatient therapy services. I have spent 2 years in correctional settings working with severely mentally ill patients and supporting their family members navigating having children with mental illness. I have also spent 2 years working with foster youth and foster parents in providing support to their placements, promoting healing and preserving relationships.
Note that online scheduling is limited. Broader scheduling options will be available to regularly scheduling clients. Please also note that I do not provide opinions about disability or fitness to return to work or other activities for clients who are not well-established at the time that the request for such opinion is made.
There is always a path beyond what you're suffering now. For 35 years I've been privileged to help people like you look at their lives. I've helped them find ways to directly look at the pain, fear, anger, shame, depression, trauma, and other things that feel overwhelming. Most importantly, I've helped people move beyond today's focus on pain and struggle to discover new ways to manage their lives, to suffer less, to feel more space, trust, and aliveness.
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to people—their stories, their emotions, and the quiet places where they carry their pain.
After experiencing my own seasons of grief and change, I realized how powerful it can be to have someone walk beside you through it. Becoming a therapist felt less like a decision and more like a calling to offer the support I once needed myself.
Today, I’m honored to hold space for others as they navigate loss, healing, and the search for themselves again.
I have been a therapist for 19 years and I love my job! I love connecting with women who want to level up and let go of what is no longer serving them. I believe in empowering you with tools and resources so that the work with me is intentional, targeted, and short-term. I have a spiritual orientation and work with my clients holistically, meaning mind, body, and spirit. If you are open to energy work, then we may be a good fit.
I believe that the most important component of successful therapy is the trust and connection between the client and his or her therapist. It is my intention to build a trusting relationship and to embark on a collaborative journey with each client. My passion is working with people to help them overcome obstacles, to enable them to reach and maintain goals to live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life. I am an empathetic listener, compassionate and sincere in my desire to be of service by creating a safe environment for clients to explore ideas, to create goals and to practice new techniques. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful.

My name is Diana Tavares. I am a patient and empathic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My style is compassionate, relatable, and goal-oriented. I work with young adult women navigating anxiety, self-doubt, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where we focus on emotional awareness, mindfulness, and practical tools to help you build confidence, set boundaries, and feel more grounded in your daily life and relationships.
Hi, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in California and have been practicing for the last 8 years. Adversity is a part of life and we all experience it and feel isolated. However, I believe it can be an opportunity to grow stronger. I use strength-based supportive approaches that promote growth and healing. My approach focuses on deep care and respect for you. I value your experiences, thoughts, and feelings and apply a non-judgmental stance making my sessions a comfortable experience. I focus on providing a collaborative and supportive environment where you can express yourself freely.
I work with individuals who grew up with a pervasive sense that they were “outside the box”. Perhaps this was due to neurodivergence, cultural differences or struggles with gender and/or sexuality. Many of my clients arrive with previous diagnoses of ADHD, autism, anxiety and/or depression. They often have a creative side that has been suppressed in order to focus more on developing a professional self. Many of my clients report feeling like they have to wear a mask in the workplace and in social situations. It is not uncommon for them to feel lost, numb or lacking direction in their life.
As a therapist, my strengths are in my ability to follow creative lines and tie together seemingly complex thought and behavior systems to give you deeper awareness of the issues that present for you. My education and experience in community health and mental healthcare has prepared me as a therapist to provide therapeutic care that goes beyond asking deep questions. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental and is driven by the strengths of my clients.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Together we can find a path.
Hi, I'm Crystal and I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, supported, and accepted exactly as you are. My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, and I strive to create an environment where you can show up authentically, explore life's challenges, and build meaningful change at your own pace.
As a mom of two, I understand the importance of balance, resilience, and self-care, especially during life's busiest and most demanding seasons. Outside of my work as a therapist, you'll often find me riding my motorcycle, spending time with my backyard chickens, or enjoying a little Disney magic. These experiences help keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of connection, joy, and making space for ourselves. I bring those same values into my work with clients, creating a therapeutic relationship that feels genuine, supportive, and human.
Hi! I am a licensed therapist in the state of CA and ID. I received my Masters from the University of Phoenix and have been practicing for 5 years. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, I empower you to explore your emotions, gain insight, and develop the skills necessary to navigate life's complexities.
I'm a mother to young adults and married for over two+ decades with a professional background and MBA. I understand the complexities of dating, couplehood, family life, parenting, and professional challenges. I specialize in couples therapy & individual therapy for adults. At this time I am taking on new (adult) clients for individual therapy with insurance. I see couples with cash-pay options only.

On a personal note, I am an adoptee and a birth parent and live in gorgeous southern California. I was raised as a military brat and grew up overseas (Taiwan and Indonesia) as well as both on the east and west coasts of the US and as a result truly enjoy experiencing culture and travel. I was in the Little League World series and to this day, love to travel (especially to the Caribbean). The beach is my happy place.

Thank you for stopping by. I know that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I'm glad you're here.
I'm Travis Buchanan, LMFT, LAADC, and I help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by stress, struggling in your relationships, facing addiction, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a place to slow down, gain perspective, and move forward.
I've had the privilege of working with professionals, business owners, and others in demanding careers. Many are highly successful on the outside while privately carrying the weight of burnout, anxiety, loneliness, or relationship struggles. I understand the pressure of being the one others depend on.
My approach is grounded in the belief that people aren't broken. Together, we'll explore the patterns and beliefs that have shaped your life—not to dwell on the past, but to better understand the present and create lasting change. I combine compassion with practical strategies that help you build resilience, strengthen relationships, and live more in line with your values.
As both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I also have extensive experience helping people recover from substance use and behavioral addictions. I believe lasting recovery begins by understanding the purpose those behaviors once served and developing healthier ways to meet life's challenges.
Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, direct, and easy to talk to. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged.
If you're ready to take the next step—or simply curious whether therapy is right for you—I'd be honored to meet you.

I am a California licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of professional experience. I work to help clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, as well as coping with grief and loss, and with life changes. I attempt to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
Hello and welcome! It brings me so much joy that you are taking this first big step of showing up for yourself. The task of finding a clinician can be overwhelming in itself, on top of stress or other issues you may already be experiencing. Take a second and give yourself a little pat on the back, you're doing it!
My Name is Raven and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. I have been practicing for 10 years. My practice has been centered around supporting people of all ages experiencing anxiety and depression, particular in connection to life transitions, family of origin issues, relationships struggles, social anxiety, self-esteem, and boundary setting.
I strongly believe in creating a welcoming, and non-judgmental space where all of you can be accepted and explored. I am not the expert of your life you are, you have more lived experience being you than I EVER will. I would like to be a collaborative partner and create a safe space where we are able to bring awareness to how certain experiences, behavior patterns or relationships are possibly impacting your wellbeing and preventing you from being the version of yourself that brings you the most joy and fulfillment.
Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lasting change? I am here to support you every step of the way. With a unique blend of compassion and practicality, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, set achievable goals, and harness your true potential. Guided by a holistic perspective, I recognize that your journey towards authenticity and empowerment encompasses every aspect of your being – mind, body, and spirit.
