My experience started in 2010 working as an intern in an inpatient facility for an eating disorder residential program for a about two years, from there I moved on to working as a therapist at a residential program treating adolescents with dual diagnosis. In the mean time I completed PsyD program and got my doctorate in clinical psychology. I also opened my private practice at that time and saw clients remotely. Currently I’m working at Sober Living helping adults deal with various addictions And mental health as well as see couples families and individuals through Telehealth. The modalities that I use often are CBT DBT solution focus and psychodynamic. I love my career and treat very client as if they are my only client. I’m passionate about helping people live to see their full potential and maximise their strengths while accepting their weaknesses. I’ve seen some success stories through my career and that’s what drives me to keep expanding my practice.
first session will include an introduction and an assessment as well as building a rapport with client
My biggest strengths is listening to the clients needs with no judgment. I like to take the clients places they are afraid to go by trusting themselves and the process by communication and open heart as well as willingness.
I apply Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions to help client reframe and change their thinking errors and other negative thinking patterns from their past.
I help and teach clients through dialectal behavioral therapy how to self regulate and be more mindful and emotionally accepted.
Often we focus most our attention on the problem and dismiss the solution and small mindset changes can assist with that.
