I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients heal emotionally, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of worth and purpose. My passion for this work is rooted in lived experience. Moving to Nigeria at the age of six, losing my father at twelve, and later experiencing the loss of my newborn taught me firsthand about grief, strength, and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences shaped both who I am and how I show up as a therapist—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s journey. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is focused on creating safety, connection, and trust. We will spend time getting to know one another while exploring what brought you to therapy and what you hope to change or understand better. You are welcome to share at your own pace. I take a gentle, supportive, and collaborative approach—meeting you exactly where you are without judgment. Together, we will begin identifying your goals and outlining a path forward that feels realistic and empowering. Many clients leave the first session feeling heard, relieved, and more hopeful about the process of therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel emotionally safe and genuinely seen. I prioritize building strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and authenticity, which allows deeper healing to unfold. I also integrate emotional insight with practical tools. This means helping clients understand the root of their struggles while developing coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and healthier thought patterns that support long-term change. My goal is not just insight—but growth, resilience, and real-world progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves and are ready to create meaningful change—even if they are unsure where to begin. I am especially well-suited to support individuals navigating loss, major adjustments, or long-standing feelings of worthlessness or self-doubt. I provide a supportive, culturally responsive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and reclaim their sense of self.
