New to Grow
I am a Clinical Social Worker with 5 years of experience, dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to becoming their best and most whole selves. My passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges, build emotional resilience, and experience lasting personal growth is deeply personal. Moving to Nigeria at six, losing my father at twelve, and later my newborn baby taught me resilience and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences inspired my commitment to helping others heal, grow, and find wholeness through life’s challenges.
The first session is about getting to know you and creating a safe, welcoming space. I listen to your story, understand your experiences, and meet you where you are. Our conversation is gentle and collaborative, focused on your goals and helping you feel supported and hopeful.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust and empathy, which help clients open up and engage fully in the healing process. I also have a gift for integrating practical problem-solving with emotional insight, helping clients gain clarity, develop resilience, and take meaningful steps toward their goals.
I work with individuals seeking support with emotional well-being, life transitions, stress, and mental health challenges. I work best with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, or feelings of worthlessness—especially those who are ready to make a change and are tired of feeling stuck. My focus is on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing and personal growth.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and develop practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and life challenges. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, focusing on actionable steps like coping skills, boundary-setting, and problem-solving. I guide clients in connecting thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to foster self-awareness, resilience, and lasting personal growth.
I provide faith-based counseling that integrates Christian principles with practical, evidence-based strategies. My approach helps clients navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and develop coping skills while deepening their relationship with God. I focus on guiding clients to align their choices and personal growth with their spiritual values for lasting emotional and spiritual well-being.
I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and set achievable goals. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, empowering individuals to identify personal reasons for change, build confidence, and take actionable steps toward lasting growth in areas like coping, behavior change, and overall well-being.
I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify strengths, set goals, and develop practical strategies for positive change. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, empowering clients to focus on solutions, build resilience, and make meaningful progress in areas like coping, relationships, and personal growth.
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and leverage their existing skills and resources. My collaborative and empowering approach focuses on building confidence, fostering resilience, and applying personal strengths to overcome challenges and achieve meaningful growth.
