I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience supporting children, teens, adults, and families who have been impacted by trauma, major life changes, relationship challenges, mental health concerns, and substance use. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative—I believe healing happens when you feel safe, supported, and truly understood. I use a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to each person’s needs, including cognitive and behavioral tools, motivational work, trauma-informed practices, and mind–body techniques. My goal is always to meet you where you are, help you feel grounded, and empower you with practical skills that create real change in your life. I’m passionate about helping people build resilience, strengthen self-worth, and move toward the version of themselves they want to be. If you’re looking for a safe and supportive space to work through what you’re facing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Together, we’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you and where you want your life to be in the next month, six months, and year. We’ll identify your goals, clarify what’s getting in the way, and walk through options and strategies you can use immediately. You’ll leave that first session with direction, insight, and small steps you can begin taking right now.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes my therapeutic approach unique is the balance of realness, compassion, and evidence-based practice. I create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—messy, overwhelmed, unsure, or hopeful—and still feel fully supported. I keep therapy grounded, warm, and relatable, while also giving you practical tools you can start using right away. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I tailor my methods to your needs, using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that helps you feel safe and empowered. Whether we’re working through anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, or substance use, you’ll learn skills that improve daily life—not just in the therapy room but in real moments when you need them most. Clients often tell me they appreciate my authenticity, my willingness to “keep it real,” and the way I help them see progress they didn’t realize they were capable of. My goal is always to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and move from feeling stuck to feeling grounded and hopeful again. If you’re ready to explore healing in a space that feels safe, supportive, and actionable, I’m here to walk with you every step of the way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of the clients I work with come to therapy because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from the version of themselves they want to be. Maybe you’ve been carrying more than you let people see. Maybe you’ve been strong for everyone else for so long that you haven’t had a place to land yourself. Or maybe you’ve reached a point where you know something has to change—you just don’t know where to start. In our work together, you can expect a space that feels supportive, warm, and real—more like talking with the most understanding friend in your life, but with the clinical skills and structure needed to help you grow. I’m a compassionate and authentic therapist who believes in meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment or pressure. My goal is to help you feel seen, grounded, and capable of creating the changes you want in your life. I help clients build practical skills they can use right away—tools for emotional regulation, healthier boundaries, confidence, and navigating difficult relationships or life transitions. I operate from a growth-mindset approach, meaning I believe you are capable of healing, expanding, and becoming the strongest, most aligned version of yourself. You don’t have to feel stuck, and you don’t have to figure it out alone. When you’re ready to feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow, I’m here to help you start that process. Schedule a session, and let’s work together on creating the version of your life you’ve been wanting.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in understanding how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. In my practice, I use CBT as a collaborative and structured approach to help clients identify unhelpful thinking patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and substance-use triggers.

Supportive

I have extensive experience using Supportive Therapy to help clients feel seen, validated, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach centers on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts and emotions while receiving active guidance, encouragement, and emotional support. In my practice, I use supportive techniques to help clients strengthen coping skills, increase resilience, and build insight into their patterns and behaviors. Sessions may include exploring stressors, processing emotions, improving communication skills, developing healthier boundaries, and reinforcing strengths.

Motivational Interviewing

I have extensive experience using Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients who feel stuck, ambivalent, or unsure about how to make meaningful changes in their lives. MI is a collaborative, client-centered approach that helps individuals explore their values, strengthen their internal motivation, and move toward the goals that matter most to them. In my practice, I use MI to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore both sides of their ambivalence—what they want to change and what makes change difficult. Rather than telling clients what to do, I partner with them to uncover their own reasons for change and to build confidence in their ability to move forward. I use MI techniques such as reflective listening, open-ended questions, strengths-based affirmations, and collaborative goal setting. Clients learn to identify their values, clarify their “why,” and shift from feeling stuck to feeling empowered.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my practice, I use a person-centered approach, which means I view each client as the expert of their own life. My role is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I focus on building a genuine therapeutic relationship and work at your pace, honoring your goals, values, and lived experiences. I use this method by actively listening, offering empathy, and helping you explore your thoughts and feelings without pressure or expectations. Together, we identify your strengths, support your growth, and develop strategies that fit who you are, not who you “should” be. My goal is to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and create meaningful change aligned with your personal vision of healing.

Trauma Informed Care

I have extensive experience providing trauma-informed care to individuals who have experienced complex, developmental, and acute trauma. In my practice, I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering environment where clients feel heard, validated, and in control of their healing process. Trauma-informed care shapes every part of my approach—I prioritize emotional safety, collaboration, transparency, and respect for each client’s pace and readiness. I help clients understand how trauma impacts the nervous system, relationships, and patterns of coping, and I integrate grounding skills, emotional regulation techniques, and strengths-based interventions to support stabilization before deeper processing. I work collaboratively to build resilience, reduce shame, and strengthen self-awareness, ensuring clients always feel supported and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. My goal is not to retraumatize, but to help clients reclaim their sense of agency, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward long-term healing and recovery.
