About me

My name is Jesse and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Master’s degree from Columbia University School of Social Work and have been in the mental health field since 2008. I understand that life can be challenging, as everyone balances different roles and responsibilities. As a therapist, my goal is to help you understand your struggles and empower you to overcome them.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial assessment session, we will begin with brief introductions followed by a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to understand your background and history. We will then explore the specific challenges you are facing and discuss your expectations for therapy. We will also talk about any ambivalence you may have toward the process. This will allow me to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I prioritize open communication and strive to maintain an honest, supportive therapeutic relationship. I regularly review progress with my clients and help identify any barriers that may be hindering their growth. I strongly believe that with consistent support and constructive feedback, personal growth and meaningful change are possible.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in working with young adults who are navigating life transitions and may feel overwhelmed or stuck. My clients are often eager to improve but may lack the coping skills needed to move forward. They may feel anxious about their future and uncertain about how to handle change. I have extensive experience supporting individuals dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, relationship challenges, and other life stressors.

I like that Jesse listened and she didn’t seem to judge anything that I said. She was patient. She asked a lot of questions and was very observant. I learned something new about myself which will allow me opportunity to improve my behavior.
