Clarissa Laughlin, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in Idaho and California who specializes in helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related challenges. She integrates evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, CPT, and solution-focused therapy to help clients identify their needs, strengthen resilience, and foster meaningful personal growth. Before becoming a therapist, Clarissa trained and showed American Quarter Horses—a background that developed her discipline, intuition, and coaching skills. This unique experience enhances her clinical work, allowing her to combine empathy, structure, and a goal-oriented approach to guide clients toward lasting emotional and behavioral change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), and Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD). I provide a supportive space where clients can process complex trauma, including betrayal trauma and difficult family-of-origin patterns.
I assist individuals recovering from environments shaped by abuse, neglect, abandonment, instability, fear, and coercive control. My work addresses dynamics such as enmeshment, trauma bonds, narcissistic family systems, and addiction—experiences that often lead to intergenerational trauma and nervous system dysregulation. I help clients normalize their emotions, feel validated, and build greater resilience. I am certified as a DBT Clinician (C-DBT), Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Mood Disorder Professional (CMDP), and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).
I grew up in an environment with people who never discussed mental health; this sparked an early interest in the unspoken challenges I observed. As a dual major in psychology and sociology, my coursework was impactful, and the lessons continued in graduate school, where I earned dual master’s degrees in social work and public administration. I interned at a domestic abuse shelter, a residential crisis center, and a community behavioral health facility, and completed specialized trauma-informed care training.
My professional experience includes serving as a psychotherapist for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, working as a behavioral specialist for children with autism, ADHD, and adjustment challenges, and supervising social workers in county behavioral health settings. I have also led interdisciplinary teams of social workers and nurses in case management, supporting individuals with complex medical needs, and managed public health teams of case investigators, contact tracers, data analysts, and nurses in response to infectious disease outbreaks.
I am deeply committed to helping clients improve from psychological and emotional harm, recognizing the serious impact these experiences can have on overall well-being.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with fourteen years of experience in the mental health field. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward healthier patterns of relating. I am deeply committed to helping my clients develop a clearer understanding of their emotional world, recognize the roots of their reactions, and build practical skills to cope with the situations that life inevitably brings. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
You know we all deal with our issues and sometimes we cannot do it alone. It is hard to talk to a stranger but give it a try. You won't be judged but welcomed and listened to. I am here to work together with you.
I am a licensed psychologist and love working with diverse clients from diverse backgrounds who are dealing with the issues like anxiety, depression, identity, relationship, and life change difficulties. As a Korean immigrant myself, I particularly have great knowledge and experience working with Asian/ Asian Americans, People of Color and immigrants. I specialize in CBT, trauma-informed therapy, and solution-focused approaches with clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns they want to change.
I work especially well with adults navigating life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and high-stress personal or professional environments. I also support men dealing with pressure around identity, relationships, and emotional expression.
Outside of my clinical work, I value time outdoors, staying physically active, and being present with my family. I’m a father of five, including stepdaughters, which has given me a lived understanding of blended family dynamics, parenting, and complex family relationships across different stages of life.
I have been a psychologist for over 30 years and in that time have worked with many client populations and in a variety of capacities. Currently I see adults from 18 years onwards via telehealth. Many are facing life changes and health challenges. Some feel stuck in their lives and unable to make their next step. I endeavor to meet them where they are and assist them as they journey forward.

I have run a part-time private practice over the last six years and use trauma modalities like IFS and EMDR and other theories or movements that I have learned over time that further accentuate my work.
Welcome—I'm glad you're here.
I'm a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience helping adults build stronger, more compassionate relationships—with themselves and with others. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-critical thoughts, and the feeling of being stuck or disconnected from what matters most.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work. These approaches help clients not only manage emotional challenges, but also clarify their values and move toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
At the heart of our work is the belief that healing comes through greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and self-compassion. Whether you're struggling with a harsh inner critic, navigating a transition, or simply feeling out of alignment, therapy can help you reconnect with your strengths and make choices that reflect who you truly are.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed—but leave with greater clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. If you're ready to move forward with more self-kindness, intention, and meaning, I’d be honored to support your journey.
Hi, I’m Luke Lorefice, a therapist and college/career counselor dedicated to helping men, young adults, including neurodivergent students and those facing emotional or academic challenges, find clarity, confidence, and purpose. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University and a College Counseling Certificate from UCLA Extension. My work blends mental health expertise with academic counseling, employment, and life transitions. Through Grow and my private practice, Wave Point Counseling, I help clients explore meaningful paths whether that’s higher education, a career pivot, or rediscovering a sense of direction.
Growing up I was challenged with depression and anxiety along with familial dysfunction. When I heard about psychology in sixth grade, I decided I wanted to be a psychologist. After starting a family and enduring an abusive marriage I went back to school to become a mental health therapist. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and challenging others to open their minds to a different way of thinking. Working with individuals as well as parents and couples is rewarding and fostering change for healthier relationships is truly beautiful.
I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.
I believe that therapy is most effective when it is a collaborative journey of discovery. Having served in the mental health field for more than 15 years, I focus on identifying your inherent strengths and what truly inspires you. By meeting you where you are without judgment, I strive to understand your world and help you navigate life’s hurdles. Together, we will turn learned skills into real-world results, empowering you to live your most authentic and vibrant life.
Currently offering very short term therapy. I have worked as a social worker since 2015 and was licensed in 2024. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
Over the past two decades, I have dedicated my career to the mental health field, spending the last 12 years providing direct, transformative clinical therapy. My entry into this profession was driven by a profound passion to assist individuals in overcoming internal barriers, discovering lasting peace, and optimizing their overall quality of life. Today, my private practice delivers highly specialized individual care by seamlessly integrating four premier, evidence-based modalities: EMDR, CBT, CBT-I, and DBT. This advanced clinical toolkit allows me to treat the full spectrum of psychological needs, ranging from mild situational stressors and acute insomnia to severe, complex trauma and emotional dysregulation.

I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and take a very client-centered approach to my work, focusing on empowerment and self-determination at all times. I believe there are as many ways to heal as there are individuals, and enjoy helping each client find their path towards fulfillment in their unique life.

As a neurodivergent, queer, adoptive parent myself, I have lived experience in all of these areas and bring this experience and understanding into the therapy space with me. I show up to every session as my authentic self and hope that that creates space for clients to do the same.
I am an adoptive parent myself, so I have lived experience in this area as well.
I am a Filipinx/German-American located in the Sacramento area. As a queer person, I love to queer what I do! I love being able to practice in alternative ways, such as adding expressive arts and spirituality in sessions. I love being comfortable in sessions (e.g., seated on the floor, snack nearby in case I am hungry) and hope my clients feel comfortable as well. I have a lot of energy, but can also meet you at a lower energy level as well to deepen our work. I plan on opening up an in person practice in Sacramento this Fall 2026 and am looking for folks to come in person! I thoroughly enjoy being able to do in-person work and see folks progress!

I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety, school stress, peer and family relationships, and life transitions. Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from California State University, Fullerton( go Titans!). I have practiced therapy for the past 7 years. I am a proud queer and gender diverse therapist that has experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I strive to provide LGBTQIA affirming care through all of my work.
My journey to becoming a therapist started 29 years ago on a personal recovery journey, recovering from personal trauma and addiction in the entire system growing up including family, and coming from a low SES background, therapy became a way to reconcile the change I was going through in my life. Working with and helping others has always been a calling of mine, and becoming a therapist was a natural extension of that ongoing work on both myself and in my work with others.
Beginning with a humanistic approach means meeting the client where they are at, and then conceptualizing the approach with a combination of humanistic and positive psychology, systems theory, and recovery-oriented systems of care.
I work with individuals who grew up with a pervasive sense that they were “outside the box”. Perhaps this was due to neurodivergence, cultural differences or struggles with gender and/or sexuality. Many of my clients arrive with previous diagnoses of ADHD, autism, anxiety and/or depression. They often have a creative side that has been suppressed in order to focus more on developing a professional self. Many of my clients report feeling like they have to wear a mask in the workplace and in social situations. It is not uncommon for them to feel lost, numb or lacking direction in their life.
As a therapist, my strengths are in my ability to follow creative lines and tie together seemingly complex thought and behavior systems to give you deeper awareness of the issues that present for you. My education and experience in community health and mental healthcare has prepared me as a therapist to provide therapeutic care that goes beyond asking deep questions. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental and is driven by the strengths of my clients.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Together we can find a path.
Are you struggling in living your best life? Do you feel ‘off’ and not sure why? Having difficulties in your interpersonal relationships at home/work?

I will work with you in developing healthy coping strategies and tools in order to enrich your everyday life and overall functioning. This can be with family, friends, or in whatever capacity you’re struggling. We can identify how anxiety and depressive symptomolgy presents. How you currently deal with interpersonal and behavioral issues and develop new healthy coping strategies.
With over 40 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I help people listen to their inner voice and develop self-knowledge to find the path that feels right for them. I believe each person is unique, with their own biology, neurology, family history, and culture. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients can learn about themselves, find their best path forward, and achieve their goals.

Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues, or cycles of anxiety, depression, or addiction, I'm here to help. Will be your spirited, upbeat, and encouraging companion.
My name is Chiwoo. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with overthinking, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. As a recovering people-pleaser myself, I understand the challenge of being your authentic self while trying to meet other people's expectations. In therapy, I combine evidence-based approaches with my own healing journey to help you feel less alone, build self-trust, and live with more confidence.
*I only work with individuals, no couples, no minors (under 18)*
Trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I am available to help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relational issues, communication skills, depression, and stress management . As a first generation Eritrean American born and raised in the Bay Area, I struggled with a sense of belonging throughout my adolescence, often straddling the line between multiple identities and insecurities surrounding the idea of not being “American enough" and not being “African enough.” Early on in college, I took a psychology class that helped me further understand the human condition and its applications in my own life. I learned transformative concepts in terms of moods, relationships, and behaviors, prompting me to further pursue the field of psychology. Since then, I have taken it upon myself to get advanced training in various therapeutic approaches, which I believe help clients get the most out of their therapy experience.
"You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
-A.A. Milne
We all struggle at times to see our inner strengths and capabilities due to the life experiences which have shaped us. I work in the belief that we each have everything we need to achieve a fulfilled and successful life already present within us; sometimes we just need a little help accessing it. Using a multi-modality approach I encourage my clients to work in the small steps, not the giant leaps, that bring us to self awareness, acceptance, and lasting change.
I began my working career as an EMT in pre-hospital and Emergency Room settings. The desire to further my education and better serve my community led me to pursue becoming an LMFT. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandman University and a Master’s degree in Psychology with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. I have additional training and experience in Clinical Pastoral Education from the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base and have worked in both residential treatment and clinical settings.
I have four sons and two grandchildren. In my off time I enjoy spending time in nature, photography, and attending baseball games with my husband of 25 years.

Currently, I have availability to work with individuals ages 18 and older through telehealth only.
After working in the fire service for 14 years and recognizing the need to bridge the gap between public safety and mental health services, I transitioned into the mental health field in 2014 and discovered passion for helping people of various ages and health needs. Therapeutically, I have gravitated towards solution-focused therapy blended with acceptance and commitment therapeutic work, mainly because of the drive I have to maintain hope for others, ingrained in me from my fire service career.
If you are looking for court mandated counseling, seeking letters for emotional support animals, work disability, custody, or other court related services, I do not provide those services, and refer individuals to other providers having those services as their specialties. I love cats and dogs but am allergic to both--feel free to let your pets interrupt sessions! Early mornings are my least favorite part of the day so I avoid scheduling responsibilities before 10AM.

Hi! I'm a licensed MFT based in Pasadena, CA (but practicing via Telehealth.) I received my masters from the University of Southern California in 2014 and cut my teeth working with young people and their families around LA. My education, training and experience have taught me more than just how to treat relationship issues, emotional disorders, and behavioral problems; I'm also acutely aware of the cultural contexts that shape my clients. I practice from a lens that is social justice-oriented, anti-racist, and affirming of all identities, and recognize that systemic issues like discrimination, racism, and oppression significantly impact mental health. I am comfortable treating many issues, but specialize in working with ADHD, "people pleasing," the "inner critic," and parenting.
You might feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, anxiety, or relationship stress that are hard to turn off. Even when things look fine on the outside, it can feel exhausting trying to manage everything internally.
I work with adults who want to understand these patterns and respond differently, not just cope. Our work focuses on making sense of what is happening beneath the surface while also finding practical ways to feel more clear, grounded, and in control in daily life.
I integrate trauma informed care and parts work to help you build self-trust, set boundaries, and move through challenges with more clarity and confidence.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy in English, Russian, and Armenian. I work with children (6+), teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, low self-esteem, and confidence issues, as well as those adjusting to life stressors or recovering from car accidents. My goal is to help patients feel more stable, confident, and in control of their lives.
Each of us has our own story and sometimes our experiences leaves us feeling confused, frightened, sad, and often tremendously isolated. I believe therapy can unravel harmful repetitive thought processes and behaviors. Your painful experiences do not have to define you.
My approach to therapy always starts with listening to my client's needs. My methods evolve through constant customization and mutual collaboration. Therapy with me will include exploring aspects of life that are not working well and constructing solutions.
Supporting 20-Somethings Who Are Ready to Break Free From Anxiety & Feel More Confident
Hey friend, I'm so glad you're here. My name is Devoney. If you're struggling with overthinking, replaying conversations over in your mind & feeling like your brain is always going - I would love to support you.
My work blends nervous system healing, healthy habits & mental wellness tools so you can get out of "anxiety mode" and start feeling more present, more calm & more confident.
I blend evidence-based practices, mind/body tools, nervous system regulation and practical skills you can actually use in your everyday life.
To others it may seem like you've got it all together, but on the inside you're spinning out of control. Panic randomly punches you in the chest, taking your breath away, and you can't focus on anything else other than how to make it stop. You are consumed by trying to keep up with everyone else since they seem to have it all together, but you can barely function through the day. You feel like an awful mom because you are lashing out on your kids and hating the daily monotony instead of "embracing the joy of motherhood." You feel like you are failing your partner because somewhere along this journey you just lost yourself.
You want to be a better mom to your kids. And remember why you fell in love with your partner. And stop the tornado of anxiety that knocks you out on the regular. You want to stop living by the expectations of others and rediscover who you truly are. It's time to win back some peace of mind and self-worth and attract the life you want.
I have the DBT and mindfulness skills, which uses both mind and body exercises that will help you manage the crippling anxiety, love yourself better, be a more present and joyful mom, improve your relationships, and attract the life you want.
