I am a licensed therapist who provides a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. I work collaboratively with individuals to identify patterns that may be causing distress and to develop practical coping skills that support emotional well-being. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how these thoughts impact emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier ways of responding to life’s challenges. My goal is to empower clients with practical tools they can use both in and outside of therapy to promote lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we will focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, comfortable space for you to share what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, your goals for therapy, and what you hope to gain from our work together. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I work closely with clients to understand their experiences, strengths, and goals. Clients often appreciate feeling actively involved in the therapy process and supported every step of the way. I combine compassion with thoughtful reflection to help clients feel understood while gently challenging patterns that may no longer be helpful. Clients often share that they feel heard, validated, and better equipped to handle emotional stressors.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best suited to support individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, discouraged, or uncertain about their next steps. Many clients come to me seeking clarity, emotional balance, and improved coping skills. If your goal is to gain insight, strengthen self-confidence, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress, therapy with me may be a good fit.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful or negative thought patterns and work on developing more balanced, realistic ways of thinking. Through practical strategies and skill-building, CBT helps clients manage symptoms, improve coping skills, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills to better manage intense emotions, cope with stress, and improve relationships. DBT focuses on balancing acceptance and change by teaching practical tools such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills help clients feel more in control of their reactions and make healthier choices in everyday situations.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients explore how early relationships and life experiences have shaped the way they connect with others and view themselves. In therapy, I focus on creating a safe, supportive relationship where clients can build trust, increase emotional awareness, and develop healthier patterns of relating. This approach helps clients strengthen secure connections, improve relationships, and feel more grounded and supported in their daily lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop a healthier relationship with their thoughts and emotions rather than trying to eliminate them. ACT focuses on increasing mindfulness, acceptance, and clarity around personal values, while encouraging actions that align with what matters most to the client. This approach supports greater psychological flexibility, helping clients cope more effectively with challenges and build a more meaningful, values-driven life.

Eclectic

I use an eclectic approach in my practice, meaning I draw from several therapeutic methods to best meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor interventions by integrating techniques from different evidence-based approaches. This flexible style allows therapy to adapt as clients grow and helps ensure treatment is practical, supportive, and effective.
