If you’re looking for a therapist who will actually listen—who won’t dismiss your concerns or pathologize your pain—you’re in the right place. Maybe you're wondering if you have ADHD, autism, or anxiety. Maybe you've been masking for years and don’t know where to start. Maybe you're carrying trauma, grief, or a deep sense that something has always felt a little off. I work with people who’ve spent too long feeling misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or minimized—and are ready for something different. You don’t need a perfect narrative. You don’t need to show up polished. You don’t even need to be sure what you need yet. With over 10 years of experience, I specialize in working with neurodivergent and emotionally complex clients—including first responders, trauma survivors, and members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. I have a Master’s in Clinical Counseling, a Master’s in Forensic Psychology, and I’m currently completing a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology. I combine clinical insight with curiosity, humor, and a belief in your capacity to grow—even if it’s messy.
Our first session is all about getting to know you—not just your symptoms or struggles, but your story, your strengths, and what brings you here now. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, any concerns you have, and what support looks like for you. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, and I’ll explain how therapy works, your rights as a client, and what confidentiality really means (and when it has limits). You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right words.” You just need to show up as you are. We go at your pace—whether that means diving in or just tiptoeing forward. This is your space. My job is to make sure it feels safe, collaborative, and judgment-free from day one.
I feel I have strengths in helping people manage their anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD symptoms, self-esteem issues, and grief. I believe in being a good support, and model for my clients. I think it is important to feel like you have a person in your corner who you can talk to, and not feel judged, so they can work through issues, and learn to celebrate the good.
In our sessions, you can expect honesty, warmth, and room to just be. I’ll help you name what’s going on, explore your patterns without shame, and build practical tools that match your nervous system and needs—not anyone else’s. If you’re ready to feel seen, supported, and safely challenged, I’m here. And when we need to, we’ll laugh. Healing doesn’t have to be heavy every single minute.
Identifying negative thought processes and working to change them Creating healthy coping skills to help with self-soothing and mood regulation Identifying Cognitive Distortions to mitigate assumptions and miscommunication.
I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work to support clients in building emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness skills. DBT offers practical, compassionate tools for navigating intense emotions and making meaningful change without judgment.
My work is grounded in attachment-based therapy, helping clients explore how early relationships shape their current emotional world. By understanding patterns of connection, trust, and vulnerability, we work together to build healthier, more secure bonds—with others and with the self.
I approach therapy from a strength-based lens, focusing on what’s working, what’s possible, and what’s already within you. By identifying inner resources and amplifying resilience, we build forward momentum from a foundation of self-trust and capability.
Using motivational interviewing, I help clients explore their ambivalence, clarify their values, and uncover their own reasons for change. This collaborative, nonjudgmental approach honors autonomy and supports lasting transformation at your own pace.
