I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults, young professionals, and students navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My approach is reflective, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves, their experiences, and the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I strive to create a space that feels thoughtful, honest, and supportive while also helping clients build greater clarity, resilience, and direction in their day-to-day lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to slow things down and get a clearer understanding of what’s been weighing on you and what you’re hoping will feel different through therapy. We’ll talk through your current stressors, patterns, and goals, while creating a space that feels grounded, supportive, and productive. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. The goal of the first session is simply to begin making sense of where you are and where you want to go from here.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the combination of trauma-informed clinical work, higher education experience, and work with individuals navigating high-pressure environments. Within my private practice work, I have experience supporting professionals in demanding and high-visibility roles, including industry leaders, healthcare professionals, first responders, athletes, and creatives. I understand that stress, burnout, trauma, and anxiety often look different for people who are used to performing, leading, or carrying significant responsibility. Many clients come in feeling stuck between maintaining expectations externally while feeling overwhelmed internally. My approach focuses on creating a space that is thoughtful, grounded, and direct, helping clients better understand their patterns, reconnect with themselves, and move through challenges with greater clarity and resilience. My background in trauma and university mental health has also given me extensive experience working with identity development, life transitions, relationships, performance pressure, and the long-term impact of difficult experiences.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with adults, young professionals, students and older adolescents navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the clients I work with are individuals who are used to functioning at a high level outwardly while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or emotionally exhausted. I work particularly well with professionals, students, creatives, athletes, caregivers, and others navigating high-pressure environments or carrying significant responsibilities. I also have a strong interest in supporting survivors of trauma and individuals trying to reconnect with a stronger sense of identity, direction, or meaning after difficult experiences.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility—learning to notice and unhook from unhelpful thoughts, connect with what truly matters to them, and take meaningful steps toward change. ACT allows us to work with both the pain and the possibilities in your story.

EMDR

I offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a structured approach to help clients process and heal from trauma. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing ability by targeting distressing memories and reducing their emotional charge.

Trauma Informed Care

I practice from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how past experiences shape present emotions, behaviors, and relationships. This means creating a safe, collaborative space where your voice, choice, and sense of agency are central to the work.

Narrative

I use a narrative approach to help clients explore the stories they’ve been told—and tell themselves—about who they are. Together, we identify patterns, reclaim meaning, and re-author stories that align more fully with your values, strengths, and hopes.
