I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I work with individuals navigating mood disorders, stress, trauma, and life transitions, helping them build practical tools for emotional wellness and stability. My approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based, focused on helping you move toward clarity, balance, and meaningful change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, and goals so we can begin identifying what feels most important to address. This is also your space to ask questions and share at your own pace. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable environment where you feel heard, supported, and clear about the direction of our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include creating a safe, grounded space where clients feel genuinely heard and respected. I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT with a strengths-based and culturally responsive lens, helping clients gain insight while building practical tools they can apply in daily life. Clients often appreciate my balance of empathy and structure. I provide warmth and validation while also helping them move toward meaningful, measurable change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who are navigating depression, mood instability, chronic stress, or major life transitions and are ready to better understand their emotional patterns. My ideal clients may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted but are open to learning practical tools and developing healthier coping strategies. I work well with clients who value a collaborative approach and are motivated to build insight, resilience, and long-term emotional stability.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I support clients in identifying unhelpful thinking patterns, challenging cognitive distortions, and developing healthier, more balanced perspectives. I also incorporate behavioral activation and practical coping strategies to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. My approach to CBT is collaborative, structured, and culturally responsive, empowering clients with tools they can apply in their daily lives.

Strength-Based

I use a Strengths-Based approach to help clients recognize and build upon their existing resilience, skills, and lived experiences. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I work collaboratively with clients to identify personal strengths, protective factors, and past successes that can support growth and healing. This approach fosters empowerment, confidence, and a greater sense of self-efficacy throughout the therapeutic process.
