Hi! I’m a licensed psychotherapist in New Jersey and New York, with over 25 years of experience supporting clients through life’s most tender and transformative moments. I’m also a certified clinical telemental health provider and a certified integrative mental health professional. My approach is rooted in presence, depth, and respect for each person’s unique path. I draw from a range of modalities—including emotionally focused therapy, trauma-informed therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, psychodynamic therapy, and humanistic and positive psychology. This integrative style allows me to tailor therapy to the individual, supporting each client in ways that feel resonant and grounded. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, stress, women's issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to helping people reclaim their clarity, reawaken self-trust, and move toward greater emotional freedom.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a calm, attuned space where nothing about you needs to be rushed or edited. I’ll take time to understand your history—not just the facts, but how your experiences have shaped the deeper patterns, emotions, and questions you're carrying now. Together we’ll begin to name what feels stuck, what’s been unseen, and what you're truly wanting to shift. I’ll also clarify what goals feel meaningful for you so we can create a treatment plan that’s both practical and deeply aligned.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a psychotherapist, I’m known for going beneath the surface—tracking the deeper layers of emotion, unspoken patterns, and internal conflicts that shape a person’s experience. I bring presence, discernment, and a steady capacity to hold what others might overlook or avoid. My style is relational, intuitive, and clear. I work best with those who sense there’s something deeper calling—who are ready to meet themselves with honesty, and walk toward what’s real with courage and care. I help clients make sense of what feels overwhelming or confusing and guide them toward deeper alignment—internally and in their lives. I bring experience, depth, and presence to my work, but also practicality. Clients often say they feel seen in a way they’ve never experienced before. At the core of my work is a strong commitment to understanding not just symptoms, but the fuller story behind them.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adult clients who are ready—often quietly, sometimes urgently—to turn inward and face what hasn’t yet been fully seen, named, or healed. Many arrive sensing there’s something beneath the coping, beneath the roles they’ve played, asking to be heard. I support this deeper listening. Some of my clients struggle to express their needs, hold boundaries, or feel steady in their relationships. Others feel stuck in old emotional patterns, unsure how to break through. What unites them is a longing for something more aligned, more true. My approach is collaborative and attuned. I offer a warm, non-judgmental space, where therapy unfolds at your pace. I listen for what’s most alive—even when it’s unspoken—and reflect back what I sense with clarity and care. Together we untangle what’s been heavy and invite a path toward wholeness. Seeing a client make positive changes and improvements in their mental and emotional well-being is truly gratifying.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Clients are guided to examine their thoughts, feelings and physical sensations and how to reframe them to more adaptive patterns and behaviors. Cognitive behavioral therapy is used primarily to treat depression and anxiety symptoms but it is also effective for many other mental health conditions. Clients will begin to feel a mastery over their thoughts, take wiser actions and improve the quality of their life.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Reflective listening is used to validate and understand clients' emotions. Clients are guided to develop increased awareness of their emotions, to feel their emotions without judgment and to transform their emotions to better use the information that they provide, to maintain positive changes and handle future conflicts constructively.
Trauma Informed Care
Create a compassionate, collaborative and safe space and help clients to identify and understand the psychological, emotional and physical effects of a traumatic event and alleviate symptoms associated with the traumatic event. Various therapeutic modalities are integrated to tailor services to a client's individual needs. This approach avoids re-traumatization, respects a client's experience, and promotes healing.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Use mindfulness and meditative techniques to help clients bring awareness to the present moment and to what is being felt and sensed and use techniques to help relax the body and mind to reduce stress level. Mindfulness practices may also help to regulate emotions which in turn help to improve mood, sleep, communication and relationships. Mindfulness practices can encourage acceptance of one's feelings other than judging or resisting them.
Humanistic
Guide clients to reflect on their true nature and help clients decide what choices need to be made and actions taken to create a fulfilling life that is aligned with what is most authentic to them. This approach values the individual's potential for self-actualization and stresses the importance of healthy interpersonal relationships.
