Clients say this provider is
I am an empathic, supportive therapist who utilizes therapeutic tools to empower my clients to lead more fulfilling lives. Many of my clients are women who identify as Black or Latino and have a history of childhood trauma or are in difficult relationships with their partners or family. I see clients age 20 to 100. Therapy requires a commitment of time and financial resources. I start out seeing my clients once per week. If you are unable to make the time commitment, I am likely not the best match for your needs. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally.
The first session is used to gather history, develop treatment goals, and to discuss the therapeutic process. I will provide assistance in identifying areas that require change, healing past traumas, enhancing relationships, fostering greater self-awareness, learning and implementing effective coping skills, and establishing achievable goals.
I work hard to support my clients in making choices and decisions that lead to more fulfilling lives.
I work best with clients who are interested in looking at ways to improve their lives and show up more fully for themselves. A lot of my clients are women who are overachievers and caretakers, often neglecting their needs. They also often struggle to maintain appropriate boundaries with others. I also work well with those who wish to improve their relationships and are willing to do the work to build healthy connections.

Nuria is a structured and kind therapist. She has a big picture mentality when it comes to treatment, so she's proactive and thorough in structuring sessions. She is empathetic and prioritizes a client's emotional safety, but is not afraid to go deeper and question your statements.

I've only had 1 session with Nuria, but based on that one session I am continuing my work with her with additional sessions. She is a good listener, has experience to be able to identify the need and create an actionable plan with skill development focus in a short amount of time. Based on 1 session, I think Nuria is a professional and I look forward to my growth with her support.
