I help adults struggling with stress and mental health issues become the best versions of themselves. I thank you for the opportunity to collaborate with you in your healing journey. My desire is to
help you through life’s struggle, and challenges. My goal is to provide authentic, compassionate,
and nonjudgmental quality care. Building a therapeutic relationship is the first step in the
treatment process. I offer person centered therapy specific to your individualized and unique
experience, in order to assist you through the struggles of life. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I utilize a goal-
oriented, strength-based approach with my clients. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a
graduate of the University of Georgia and have been practicing for 5 years. Thank you for taking the first step and for allowing me to
be part of this very important journey.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
My name is Tammy Green, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Virginia and North Carolina. Throughout my career, I have focused on supporting those who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, family systems, and trauma. I understand that what works for one person may not work for another, and that’s why I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your unique needs.
In our work together, you set the goals and direction of therapy, while I draw on my experience and training to implement techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and solution-focused therapy. My aim is to support and empower you.

Hello I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have over 30 years of experience working in mental health settings. I provide individual and couples counseling to adults only. I utilize CBT techniques most often. I do my best to provide a safe, unbiased, nonjudgmental environment for my clients so they may feel comfortable discussing their feelings and concerns openly with me. Hi, my name is Luz, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I worked as a teacher for over 15 years before making the journey into a community mental health career. I have experience in mobile crisis response, trauma, forensic mental health concerns.
To explain who I am as a therapist, I reflect back to my role as an educator. In the classroom, there was a movement for the teacher to be less of a “sage on the stage” (teacher-centered approach) and more of a “guide on the side” (student-centered). To me, therapy is a lesson plan for a learning experience. It's a guide to develop what the client needs to learn in order to cope with whatever barriers are showing up in the client's life, whether that barrier is an internal issue, such as self-image, or how to cope with work stress.
My therapeutic perspective is to provide empathetic, non-judgmental, compassionate guidance and support in an atmosphere of respect and safety while allowing clients to be the experts of their lives, much like “a co-pilot, a sous chef, or an assistant manager” of a client-therapist relationship. I use solution-focused elements to help move toward desired goals, cognitive behavioral techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts, and motivational interviewing to help gain understanding and clarity. Outside of traditional therapy, I enjoy the practices of mindfulness, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and Reiki.
Finding a therapist that's the right fit can be a challenging task, but taking that first step towards a healthier you is worth it. I look forward to working with you to help break down those barriers and make progress in areas that most matter to you.
