New to Grow
You’re functioning on the outside — working, caring for others, showing up — but inside, anxiety, OCD, or relational stress keeps running the show. I work with young adults through later age adults who are ready to do the work to reduce persistent, intrusive symptoms and create meaningful change. My approach considers the whole person — learning style, communication habits, culture, and life context — I integrate various modalities that resonate for the individual. Im experienced with ERP, CBT, psychodynamic/parts-based work etc. We move at a pace that respects your journys pace and daily life demands.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
n our first session, we’ll explore your current challenges, goals, and patterns, including how your cultural context influence your experience. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of what to expect, and a sense of collaboration in a safe, nonjudgmental space. This session sets the foundation for sustainable change at a pace that respects your life's demands.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I help clients bridge the gap between understanding and action while respecting their pace, and life context. Clients appreciate that therapy with me is practical, compassionate, and personalized — focused on skills and strategies they can apply in daily life for lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in repetitive patterns, including mild-to-moderate OCD, general anxiety, codependency, or relational/family-of-origin challenges. Clients who are motivated to engage in therapy, apply practical skills, and explore deeper patterns in a supportive, personalized space.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, especially in relation to anxiety and OCD. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and behavioral responses that keep distress going, and work on developing more flexible, realistic ways of responding. CBT in my practice is practical and collaborative, with a focus on skills clients can apply in daily life rather than simply “thinking positively.”
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic therapy helps clients understand how past experiences, attachment patterns, and unconscious beliefs influence current emotions and relationships. In my work, this approach supports deeper insight into recurring patterns while staying grounded in present-day concerns. I use psychodynamic concepts alongside structured approaches to help clients create meaningful, lasting change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness techniques are incorporated to help clients increase awareness of internal experiences without becoming overwhelmed or reactive. These skills support emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and the ability to respond more intentionally to stress. Mindfulness in my practice is practical and accessible, not rigid or prescriptive.
