New to Grow
Hello, my name is Aqilah Battle, MSW, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 40 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate emotional, relational, and life challenges. Throughout my career I have worked in hospitals, community behavioral health agencies, senior wellness programs, and private practice settings. These experiences have allowed me to support people during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives including emotional crises, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, caregiver stress, and major life transitions.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Clients can expect a respectful and supportive therapeutic environment where they can openly discuss their concerns. During our work together we focus on: • Understanding emotional patterns • Developing practical coping strategies • Improving communication and relationships • Managing stress and emotional overwhelm • Building confidence and self‑awareness My goal is to help clients leave sessions feeling supported, understood, and equipped with tools they can use in their everyday lives.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and solution focused. I work with clients to explore the root of their concerns while developing practical strategies that support emotional stability and personal growth. I believe therapy should be a safe, compassionate space where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported while learning practical tools that improve their emotional wellbeing and everyday functioning.
