Hi, I’m Michelle. If you’re feeling stuck in anxiety, constantly worrying, or struggling with feeling “not good enough,” you’re not alone, and there’s nothing wrong with you. Many of the people I work with carry the weight of past experiences, family wounds, or trauma that still show up in their daily lives in ways they don’t always understand. In our work together, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can slow down, feel supported, and begin to heal. I use approaches like EMDR and CBT to help you process painful experiences, calm anxious thoughts, and build a stronger sense of self-worth. For those who would like, I also integrate faith into counseling in a way that feels natural and supportive. I work mostly with adults who are ready for change but may not know where to start. My goal is to help you feel more at peace, more confident, and more connected, not just in sessions, but in everyday life too. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s been going on in your life, your past experiences if you’re comfortable sharing, and what you hope to get out of counseling. I may ask some questions or use brief assessments to better understand your needs. Together, we’ll talk about possible approaches that could help and create a general plan moving forward. Most importantly, this first session is about creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths is helping people feel comfortable and understood right from the start. I work hard to create a space where you can be yourself, talk openly, and not feel judged or rushed. A lot of clients tell me they finally feel heard and can make sense of things that have felt confusing or overwhelming for a long time. I have a lot of experience working with anxiety, trauma, self-worth, and attachment wounds, and I use approaches like EMDR and CBT to help people heal and make real changes, not just talk about things. I also adjust therapy to fit you, because everyone’s story and needs are different. For those who want it, I also bring faith into the process in a natural and supportive way. More than anything, I care about walking alongside you and helping you feel more peaceful, confident, and in control of your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are anyone who is looking for a safe, compassionate space to make sense of what they’re experiencing, whether that’s anxiety, negative thoughts, self-doubt, past trauma, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions they can’t quite control. You don’t need to have everything figured out or be “high functioning” to come to therapy. Many people I work with are simply wanting support, understanding, and tools to help them feel better and grow. You may be curious about exploring your past, understanding patterns in your relationships, or learning why certain thoughts or feelings keep showing up. You might struggle with self-worth, worry, or different “parts” of yourself that feel in conflict. Or you may just know something doesn’t feel right and want space to work through it. For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling, integrating faith into the healing process through prayer, biblical principles, and a Christ-centered perspective. If you’re open to self-discovery, healing, and making positive changes in your life, you’re welcome here. Together, we’ll move at your pace and focus on what feels most helpful for you.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

True healing happens when the heart, mind, and spirit are addressed together. In my Christian counseling practice, I combine evidence-based therapy with a biblical foundation to help clients process trauma, strengthen relationships, and experience lasting emotional and spiritual growth.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts shape how we feel and live. In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and build practical coping skills to reduce anxiety, depression, and emotional distress.

EMDR

Trauma doesn’t stay in the past, it lives in the body and mind. I use EMDR therapy to help clients safely process painful experiences, reduce emotional distress, and find lasting relief from trauma, anxiety, and negative beliefs.
