New to Grow
I’m a therapist who specializes in helping women break the cycle of high-functioning burnout, especially women carrying the mental load, managing demanding roles, and feeling depleted behind the scenes. My work is trauma-informed and collaborative, focused on helping you reclaim your energy, strengthen boundaries, and move from survival mode into a life that feels sustainable. You don’t have to perform here; this is a space where you can exhale and be real. If you’re ready to feel grounded again, set boundaries without guilt, and build a life that’s sustainable, I use EMDR along with CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, and motivational interviewing to help you get there.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll slow down and get clear on what’s been weighing on you, what you’ve tried, and what you want to feel different. We’ll talk through your goals, identify patterns that keep you stuck in overdrive, and begin building a plan that fits your life. You’ll leave with clarity, at least one practical tool for relief, and a shared direction for our work together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my approach is that we don’t stay at surface-level coping. I help you understand why your nervous system stays in over-functioning mode and then we work to shift it. I integrate CBT and EMDR to reduce anxiety, process stress/trauma that fuels perfectionism and over-responsibility, and help you create boundaries that actually stick. Clients often report feeling lighter, clearer, and more confident making decisions without guilt.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m best positioned to serve high-achieving women who look “fine” on the outside but feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and emotionally alone on the inside. You may struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, perfectionism, boundary guilt, or a history of stress/trauma that keeps you in constant overdrive. If you’re ready to feel grounded again, set boundaries without guilt, and build a life that’s sustainable, you’re in the right place.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I regularly use CBT to address anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and stress-related challenges. I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical coping skills. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and trauma-informed, adapting CBT interventions to each client’s individual needs.
EMDR
I use EMDR to help clients process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional intensity of past events that continue to impact present functioning. I incorporate EMDR in a trauma-informed and paced manner, focusing on stabilization, resourcing, and safety before reprocessing. My use of EMDR is tailored to each client’s readiness and clinical needs.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness to help clients build awareness, regulate emotions, and reduce reactivity. I keep it practical, brief grounding or breathing in session, then we apply what they noticed to triggers and coping.
Motivational Interviewing
My MI approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental. I use open-ended questions, reflections, and affirmations to help clients clarify values and increase readiness for change.
