Clients should know that I am genuine, compassionate, and deeply committed to creating a safe space where you feel heard and supported. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I honor the courage it takes to begin. I show up present, non-judgmental, and invested in your healing, not just your symptoms. I believe in meeting you where you are, respecting your lived experiences, and working at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and a Master of Social Work, and my background includes work in community mental health, integrated behavioral health, and intensive support services. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults (ages 13 to 65+), supporting individuals who may be feeling stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges. My approach is client-centered and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies. Above all, my goal is to help you feel empowered, grounded, and more connected to yourself as we move forward together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and discussing what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, goals, and what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, while also making space for you to ask questions and share at your own pace. We’ll talk about next steps and begin identifying areas of focus for our work together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about how therapy can help.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is that I balance emotional support with practical, skills-based work. Clients can expect to feel heard, validated, and supported while also gaining insight into patterns that keep them stuck. I focus on tools clients can use in real life to regulate emotions, improve relationships, and manage stress. My work is collaborative, trauma-informed, and paced to each client’s needs, with an emphasis on building self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change and not just short-term relief.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or impacted by past experiences that continue to affect their present lives. My ideal clients are self-aware, motivated for change, and open to building insight and practical coping skills. Many are seeking support with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions and want a therapist who is supportive, direct, and collaborative. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, empowered, and confident as they move toward healthier relationships and greater emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I regularly use CBT to address anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and stress-related challenges. I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical coping skills. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and trauma-informed, adapting CBT interventions to each client’s individual needs.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional intensity of past events that continue to impact present functioning. I incorporate EMDR in a trauma-informed and paced manner, focusing on stabilization, resourcing, and safety before reprocessing. My use of EMDR is tailored to each client’s readiness and clinical needs.
