I am a licensed professional counselor with seven years of experience working with individuals facing a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and relationship challenges. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, aimed at helping clients gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. I support clients to identify personal goals, strengthen communication skills, and developing effective coping techniques to navigate life's stressors with greater confidence and clarity.
You will be met with unconditional positive regard, and a safe space without judgment, to be you authentic self.
My greatest strength is my passion for the work I do.
If you are feeling stuck, uncertain, confused, or frustrated, this is the place to better explore those emotions and find ways to best cope with them, while managing day-to-day life.
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. We work together to identify thoughts that may increase anxiety or depressive symptoms, as well as barriers that affect daily functioning. We will set goals to work through these issues, to help improve mood, relationship dynamics, adjusting to new situations or coping with life situations.
In my practice I like to create a warm and non-judgemental space where you may feel safe to explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings, in order to better process them. My role is to support you towards expressing yourself and better understanding your triggers, emotions, past experiences and thoughts, at your own pace.
In my practice I work with you on exploring healthy ways to cope with life stressors, including relaxation techniques and guided imagery. You may learn techniques that help reduce stress,e specially in anxiety-provoking situations, as well as ways to be more present.
