LCSW, 5 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping clients work through trauma, anxiety, stress, and life transitions. My approach combines TF-CBT and DBT to provide practical tools, coping strategies, and insight that fit your unique needs. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel both comfortable and challenged, allowing real growth to take place. Together, we’ll build resilience, improve emotional regulation, and work toward meaningful, lasting change so you can move forward with confidence.
During your first initial session, we’ll begin with a brief overview of confidentiality, consent, and what therapy with me looks like. I’ll complete a collaborative assessment to understand what brings you in, your history, current symptoms and stressors, strengths, and determine what’s helped or not helped previously. I’ll ask focused questions about patterns, safety, and daily functioning. Together we’ll set a goal that you want to achieve throughout the process, and agree on session frequency.
What stands out about my approach is the balance of structure and compassion I bring to therapy. I integrate Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide evidence-based tools that are tailored to each client’s needs. This means sessions may include processing past experiences, learning skills to manage emotions, or practicing healthier coping strategies.
As an LCSW, I provide therapy to teens and adults facing anxiety, life changes, stress, and other life challenges. I am especially experienced in supporting young adults, though I welcome and provide care to clients of all ages. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. I am trained in both TF-CBT and DBT to assist with trauma related symptoms and concerns.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured, goal-focused approach that helps clients identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. As a CBT specialist, I guide clients in developing practical coping skills, testing new ways of thinking, and building lasting strategies for managing life challenges.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a skills-based approach that blends CBT and mindfulness. As a DBT specialist, I help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness to create balance and reduce harmful behaviors.
Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps children and teens process and heal from trauma. As a TF-CBT trained provider, I teach coping skills, guide safe processing of memories, and work to reduce trauma symptoms while restoring a sense of safety.
