I utilize evidence-based practices, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. We may just as much explore your childhood and family of origin as we may identify concrete solutions to real-time problems. I love bringing in humor as appropriate. Hey there, and congrats on taking the first step toward a more fulfilling life! 🎉 I'm so glad you're here — and I can’t wait to walk alongside you as you work toward your wellness goals. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Florida, Georgia, Kansas, and Nevada, and I also hold a Clinical Supervisor Endorsement through the National Association of Addiction Professionals. That path led me to the University of Georgia (go DAWGS!), where I earned my Master’s in Social Work, and I’ve been in the field for over a decade now. My specialty? Helping amazing humans heal from trauma, manage anxiety or depression, overcome substance use struggles, and tackle life transitions with confidence and compassion. I believe real change happens when you feel seen, supported, and empowered — and that’s exactly what I aim to provide in every session. Let’s uncover your strengths, rewrite your story, and build a life you genuinely love. 💛 Ready when you are!

I offer a collaborative, trauma-informed space for adolescents (13+), adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, life transitions, or the lasting impact of difficult experiences. As a Punjabi Marriage & Family Therapist, I understand how cultural expectations, family roles, and stigma can make it hard to ask for support. Hello, If you’re on this website I want to applaud you for your bravery and courage to seek services. I believe our earliest relationships shape how we understand ourselves, connect with others, and cope with emotional challenges. In therapy, I help clients explore how early relational experiences influence present-day patterns in relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation. Rather than focusing on “what’s wrong,” we work to understand what once helped you adapt and how those strategies may no longer be serving you. I take a relational, attachment-informed approach, using the therapeutic relationship as a safe, supportive space to build insight, foster emotional growth, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Welcome! Taking the step to seek therapy is a courageous move, and it’s a powerful indicator that you’re ready to embrace positive change. This journey can feel daunting, but it’s a testament to your openness and commitment to creating a life filled with hope, fulfillment, and new possibilities. I specialize in supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, food-related issues, and trauma. I also offer guidance to stressed parents of children with special needs. My approach is centered around two main goals: first, helping you achieve regulation in your body and nervous system, and second, fostering a compassionate understanding of your mind’s patterns to guide it towards healthier choices. Because mental health is deeply personal, I tailor my approach to what best suits your needs. We might use a top-down approach, focusing on thoughts, beliefs, and values, or a bottom-up approach that listens to your body's sensations and messages. Often, a combination of both methods works best. I draw from a range of techniques, including Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, and various somatic interventions. Together, we’ll explore which methods resonate most with you and create a path forward that aligns with your unique journey.

Hi! My name is Jose Rodriguez, I have been working in behavioral health since 2008, and it has been a very rewarding experience. I have an energetic and enthusiastic approach. Please note that I am licensed in both California and New York. I stay up to date with the latest studies to provide the best care possible. I am well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I am originally from New York, so I have had the opportunity to gain experience at reputable institutions such as New York Presbyterian Hospital and Montefiore Health System. I have also served as Director of the Behavior Health Department at Salinas Valley Health in Salinas, California. I earned my BA in Psychology from Boston College and my Master of Social Work from Fordham University. I also earned my MBA in Healthcare Administration in 2019. Outside of work, I enjoy boxing, playing golf, yoga, lifting weights, and going to the beach! The goal in psychotherapy is for you to become your own therapist. We would achieve this in a collaborative and strategic manner. There has always been a need to address our emotional well being but until recent times, this topic is more accepted than ever to discuss. Not only do I help people address their problems, but I also aim to help people be self-actualizing.

Hello, I'm Karen and I am so happy that you have made this first step of seeking what might help whatever situation you are in. It's a big step, and not taken lightly. Therapy effectiveness is known to work best when it feels like the right fit for you, and you are in a place in your life to move forward with it. I have been doing this for a minute, and know how much change can come about walking alongside you on this journey. I have worked in outpatient settings, managed counseling programs, private practice, schools, drug treatment, crisis response, elder care, and at-risk settings. While I have skill sets in those areas, I feel that working with anxiety, trauma, grief, ADHD , and adjustments to life's circumstances are particularly strong attributes for me.

I am a licensed bilingual psychologist (Khmer and English) with a passion for helping people explore themselves deeply, understand their relationships, and grow into their fullest potential. My approach blends humanistic, insight-oriented, and experiential therapies, including talk therapy, drama therapy, play, and expressive arts. I create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down, reflect, and explore who they truly are. I work with immigrants, BIPOC individuals, and anyone navigating identity, transition, cultural stress, or existential anxiety as well as people seeking deeper self-understanding and meaningful growth. Many of my clients come looking for ways to process difficult experiences, explore relationships creatively, or develop resilience in the face of challenges. I work with people with various backgrounds ranging from college students to mental health worker themselves. My approach is deeply shaped by my own experiences growing up in Cambodia. As my parents taught me and my siblings: “It is not the world of survival of the fittest, but the world where you always need to be a little kinder than necessary.” Like many Cambodian families, ours lived through the aftermath of the Khmer Rouge, facing loss, suffering, and hardship. Yet my parents always found ways to give, even when resources were scarce. Their example of kindness and generosity became a core teaching in my life, and it now guides my work as a therapist. Practicing kindness, compassion ,deep listening, presence, cultural humility, and sensitivity is central to how I support clients. I believe most of us are doing the best we can, and when we cannot see that in ourselves or others, life becomes more difficult. Therapy becomes a place where people can engage with themselves fully, let go of self-judgment, and cultivate self-compassion.
