We are all faced with challenges. These challenges can create limitations that interfere with gaining a sense of self, forming healthy relationships, and pursuing our goals. I believe we should not allow these obstacles to dictate how we respond to the environment around us. Learning healthy coping skills, challenging negative self talk, and setting effective boundaries can facilitate desired outcomes in our daily life. Given the opportunity, I would enjoy working with you right where you are. Let’s get to work!
Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of clinical and therapeutic experience. I have a masters degree from USC with a concentration in children and families. During my Master’s program, I lead and facilitated substance abuse group therapy, assisted multiple diagnosis individuals in a group home setting, and received internship hours at a women’s victims of crime outpatient treatment center, and a community clinic. I also have 5 years experience in mental health private practice.
I believe a good clinician is a moldable one — someone who adapts to the person in front of them rather than fitting people into a fixed approach. My work is collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on yourself. Together, we explore the patterns, stories, and relational blueprints that have shaped how you see yourself and the world — and we work to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you.
I work with individuals and couples across the lifespan, and I am proudly affirming of the LGBTQIA+, kink, and BDSM communities. I specialize in trauma, identity, depression, anxiety, relationships, and sexual health, and I bring the same nonjudgmental, culturally humble approach to every client I see. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for those who wish to incorporate spirituality into their healing.
Whether you arrive ready to dive in or full of resistance — I'll meet you where you are. I am bilingual and bicultural, and welcome clients who move between both languages and worlds.
Hi, I’m Charles Yin, I work with men and women who struggle with depression, anxiety, and self-sabotaging patterns. This prevents them from feeling connected to themselves and others and from reaching their full potential. I firmly believe everyone can live a meaningful and fulfilling life. After working with clients for over 16 years, I understand the difficulties of finding your path in life and use my expertise to help you overcome these challenges.
How do I help you? There are 3 key ingredients: I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you become friends with your difficult thoughts and feelings and make wise choices even when it's hard. I help you connect deeply with the real you and develop a sense of belonging with others. I help you get out of your mind and into your life and develop skills to unhook from difficult thoughts and feelings, stay present and do what matters.

Having been married for 50 years and raised four children to adulthood, I bring a wealth of life experience to the therapeutic relationship. There are so many challenges with marriage and raising a family, undergoing therapy myself (both individual and couple) has helped me through many difficult times, and I know what it takes make significant changes in my life. I love animals, and i have two dogs who bring me joy every day. My children and seven grandchildren are very important to my life. One of the benefits of being an older therapist is that I have overcome many of the obstacles that my clients face, and for even those I have not experienced, my clients benefit from the life skills I have developed.
Hi, I’m Patricia Hernandez, LCSW. I help mothers and women find their footing in the beautiful, messy transition of parenthood. My therapy style is a mix of deep root-work (Psychodynamic) and real-life tools (PCIT & CBT), always grounded in a Somatic and cultural perspective. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; I meet you where you are to challenge the systems that weigh you down and celebrate the traditions that lift you up. Let’s work together to nurture your healing and your family’s future.

My background in healthcare gives me a deep understanding of both emotional and physical pain—and the resilience of the human spirit. I’m here to support you on your path to healing and emotional wellness
I am passionate about the impact of spirituality in mental health therapy. As an attachment informed humanist LPCC, I consider the bio-psycho-social-spiritual/existential condition of the folks with whom I work. Healing is a matter of integrating the disparate and fragmented parts of life. Empathy, acceptance, positive regard, and genuineness are crucial elements for effective therapy and these are the characteristics I seek to cultivate in my practice. As far as a specific toolkit, CBT and Motivational Interviewing are the primary evidence based methodologies I employ to be with people in their self-paced, goal oriented healing efforts. Those who want to examine the angst, anxiety, disquiet, and friction in their lives will find a fellow traveler in me.
I’m a warm, open-minded clinician who works with adults to manage anxiety, process complex emotions, and strengthen self-worth. Together we can help find new ways of understanding yourself (self-empathy) and discover/change how you are looking at the world around you. We can work to relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. My goal is to eventually have you be able to better handle feelings and emotions and live a happier more fulfilled life without me being there to help. What are your goals? What would you like to work on with me?

I was raised as a military brat and grew up overseas (Taiwan and Indonesia) as well as both on the east and west coasts of the US and as a result truly enjoy experiencing culture and travel. I was in the Little League World series and to this day, love to travel (especially to the Caribbean). The beach is my happy place.

I've been a licensed clinical social worker for over 30 years. I graduated with a bachelor's degree from University of California Los Angeles then worked a few years in the "corporate world" before going to graduate school. I got my Master of Social Work at University of Southern California. Since then I have worked with a wide variety of people; from those with terminal illnesses, to those coping with childhood trauma, to those with situational depression and anxiety. The one thing all my clients have in common is the opportunity to be truly seen and heard. Sometimes that is with quiet compassion and sometimes it's by having me cheer them on as they move toward their goals.
I was born and raised in Oakland, California. I am a father of 5 boys and am currently married for over 16 years. I am a retired Longshoreman. So, being a therapist is a second career for me. I offer my clients a place to explore all aspects of their life. I embrace discussions about identity (race, sexuality, socio economic issues, gender, ableism etc...) I was taught the client is the expert in their own experiences. I see my role as supporting the client in deepening their understanding of the past, the present and how they can create a future of their own making.
I'm a mother to young adults and married for over two+ decades with a professional background and MBA. I understand the complexities of dating, couple hood, family life, parenting, and professional challenges. I specialize in couples therapy & individual therapy for adults. At this time I am taking on new (adult) clients for individual therapy with insurance. I see couples with cash-pay options only.
Something meaningful in your life isn't working — even though on the outside, things look fine. You've tried therapy, you have insight into your patterns, but something still isn't shifting. That's exactly who I work with.
I'm a licensed therapist in Pasadena, California. Before becoming a therapist, I spent most of my adult life as a successful executive in investment management — driven, accomplished, and always moving. What I didn't realize until my 50s was that the constant motion was keeping me from slowing down enough to feel. Therapy changed that profoundly enough that I left my career, went back to school, and became a therapist myself.
This is my first career and something I have always been pulled to; my journey is a thorough reflection of why I work in this field. My path to becoming a licensed therapist was very intuitive-based; I went through experiences of pain, guilt, shame, loss of self, and the loss of my overall sense of life. Through my journey, I was able to understand pain and trauma, taking on a lot of spiritual remedies while turning my pain into passion, my passion into purpose, and my purpose into power as a healer. Due to my licensure journey, I not only understand the educational part of pain, trauma, and healing, but I also experienced painful and challenging moments myself, bringing me to a higher purpose for self and meaning of life! I am highly intuitive, empathic, gentle, and calm, and I am a good listener and healer. I have worked in addiction, with children who have autism and intellectual disabilities, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life coaching, spirituality, and connecting to the higher self.
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with teens, young adults, and adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected internally. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, or the impact of past experiences that still show up in their day-to-day lives.
I help clients slow down, understand their patterns, and reconnect with themselves in a more grounded and compassionate way. My goal is to support you in feeling more in control of your emotions, more present in your life, and more aligned with who you want to be.
Does this sound like you?
On the outside, you appear capable, driven, and responsible—the person who consistently meets every expectation. But internally, you may feel emotionally drained, disconnected, or weighed down by past experiences. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or a major life transition, these challenges can leave you feeling stuck and questioning your sense of balance.
I work with teens and adults who are ready to look beneath the surface. Together, we work to better understand your experiences, heal from the past, and develop practical ways to cope so you can feel more grounded and aligned with the life you want to create.
Struggling to "fix the issue" on your own isn’t a sign of weakness—it’s a sign that you’re human. I believe therapy should feel real, collaborative, and deeply grounded. In our sessions, you will find a steady, down-to-earth space where we work side by side to help you move forward with renewed confidence.

Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. We will work through parts people generally dismiss and ignore such as anger, resentment, shame, and disgust, and learn how to embrace them gracefully. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace.
As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I help you take what you've learned and apply it to your own life by giving you things to think about and work on between sessions, along with resources and handouts to remember.
I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them.
Everything you seek is already inside you. All I’m doing is helping you remember.

A little about me, personally: I identify as an artist and child of the earth, as diaspora has scattered my ancestors across the Arab world, Africa, Europe, and North America. I am fascinated by intersectionality and the powerful ways that resilience shapes our multi-hyphenate individuality. It is important that I take care of myself so that I can be a pillar of support to my clients. The way that I release painful feelings is by channeling them into creative projects. I also work hard to stay connected to my body and my surroundings. Whether it’s through writing, building clay sculptures, beading, or making collages, self-expression is a healing practice. I encourage everyone to play a little bit!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over three decades of experience in mental health and clinical experience. I draw from 63 years of my own life experience as a gay man, educational (MSW from the University of Connecticut) and practical knowledge. Thus I understand what it’s like to be marginalized, and feel different like you don’t belong. I use a compassionate, non- judgmental, understanding, strength based approach by acknowledging and welcoming your whole person, body, mind, and spirit. I can help one understand who they are? where they've been? and how they can move forward in their life.
collective community action .
For the last twenty years consistently, I have been providing Clinical Social Work services to many communities within the Bay Area. I have a plethora of exposure and experience working with Black families as well as LGBTQIA, LatinX and communities impacted by substance abuse and homelessness. My goal is to bring health and wellness practices to people who look like me.
Therapy for anxiety, depression, psychosis, and self-doubt.
For the curious, the sensitive, and the ones who've been told they're “too much.”
If you’re here, maybe you’re carrying a lot. And maybe you’re finally ready to understand why.
I work best with clients who are curious, self-aware, and ready to get into the real stuff — not just the “I’m fine” script. If you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, self-doubt, or the aftershocks of a mental health diagnosis like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
I work with adults (mostly 26–46) who are insightful, emotionally intelligent, and ready to explore the patterns beneath their symptoms. My clients often identify as women, queer, gay, or somewhere in between. I also love working with family members of folks with serious mental illness (SMI) — and with people living with SMI themselves.
You might be a student juggling survival and identity, or a person who’s held it together for too long. Maybe you've been misunderstood by providers in the past — labeled “too much” or “treatment resistant.” I see you differently.
I’m pro-medicine, pro-choose-if-you-want-medicine, and pro-you-get-to-decide-what-healing-looks-like. (And honestly? Medication saved my life.) We’ll work together to figure out what works for you — whether that’s weekly therapy, biweekly check-ins, or monthly deep dives.
This is a space for unlearning shame, untangling patterns, and giving yourself permission to take up space — even when it feels hard. Let’s get into the layers. Let’s do the work.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. You’re not alone in this. Change is possible, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
My role is to support and guide you in reconnecting with your strengths while helping you build tools for meaningful, lasting change. I take an integrative, collaborative, and evidence-based approach, tailoring therapy to your unique needs. I incorporate trauma-informed care and mind-body awareness to help you better understand how your past experiences may be impacting you today.
In our work together, you can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space where we balance insight with practical strategies. Whether we are building coping skills, exploring patterns, or focusing on clear, achievable goals, my aim is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and capable of creating the life you want.
