I am Licensed MFT and I help my client to explore their behaviors, thoughts, and emotions in a safe and confidential space. The goal is personal growth and improve mental wellbeing and navigate the client through anxiety, depression, addiction and relationship issues, through collaborative work my client able to gain the tools and insight to deal with the at hand problems and future issues. Developing rapport with my clients is a primary focus and understanding their struggles in their own words, by providing them with safe and nonjudgmental environment.
In the first session I introduce myself, explain my approach, go over confidentiality, limits and what therapy involve. Asking client what brought them for therapy, exploring their expectations and focusing on rapport building.
I have worked with clients depression, anxiety and addiction for more than twenty years has helped me to understand, being empathetic, good listener, and meeting the clients where they are at. I adjust my style to the unique needs of the client, exploration, or specific tools. its important for me to maintain clear boundaries.
I have worked with diverse population; ethnicity, socioeconomic backgrounds, dual diagnosis. working with clients diagnosed with depression, anxiety, addiction or relationship issues through a combination of supportive relationship, evidence - based interventions, and tailored treatment plans help them acquire the tools for growth and change.
