New to Grow
I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD-related challenges, depression, relationship stress, and life transitions. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful and self-aware but feel stuck in patterns they can’t quite shift — whether that’s overthinking, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling overwhelmed by competing responsibilities. Many of the adults I work with feel stuck or overwhelmed, even if they’re not entirely sure why. They may struggle with overthinking, people-pleasing, setting boundaries, or balancing the many demands in their lives. Therapy becomes a space to slow down, gain clarity, and begin making intentional shifts. My style is collaborative, structured, and supportive. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and practical. In our work together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also building skills you can apply in everyday life. I aim to create a space that feels calm, respectful, and focused — where insight and action go hand in hand. I approach therapy with warmth and clarity, helping clients better understand themselves while developing tools that support healthier relationships, stronger boundaries, and greater confidence in their decisions.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to slow down and understand what’s bringing you in. You can expect a conversation — not an interrogation. I’ll ask questions to learn about what’s been feeling overwhelming or stuck, and we’ll begin exploring what you’d like to feel different in your life. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable. By the end of the session, my hope is that you feel heard, have a clearer understanding of what we might focus on together, and leave with a sense of direction for next steps.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a space that feels steady and clear, even when life feels chaotic. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard and supported, while also gaining direction and practical steps forward. I tend to notice themes and connections that may not be immediately obvious, and I help clients make sense of their experiences in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. I balance warmth with structure. Our work is collaborative, focused, and grounded in tools that can be applied outside of session. Rather than staying only in insight, we translate understanding into action — helping you feel more confident in your decisions, more secure in your relationships, and more in control of your responses. My bilingual background and experience working within diverse systems allow me to approach care with cultural awareness and clarity, meeting clients where they are while helping them move toward meaningful change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just tired of repeating the same patterns, I want you to know you’re not the only one. Maybe you overthink everything. Maybe you find yourself people-pleasing or struggling to set boundaries. Maybe relationships feel harder than they should, or your ADHD makes it difficult to stay organized and focused in the ways you want to. You don’t need to come in with everything figured out. You don’t need the perfect words to explain what’s wrong. If something feels off, heavy, or confusing — that’s enough. The people I work best with are those who are open to slowing down, getting curious about their patterns, and gently trying something different. Together, we work toward feeling more steady, more confident in your decisions, and more secure in your relationships — both with others and with yourself.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, low mood, relationship stress, or ADHD-related challenges. I focus on practical tools and small, manageable shifts that clients can apply in everyday life so progress feels realistic and sustainable.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing when clients feel stuck, conflicted, or unsure about change. This approach helps clarify values, strengthen confidence, and reduce self-criticism. It can be especially helpful when working through relationship decisions, behavior changes, or patterns that feel hard to shift.
Psychodynamic
I integrate psychodynamic principles to explore how past experiences and attachment patterns may be shaping current relationships and self-perception. Many clients notice recurring themes—such as difficulty setting boundaries or feeling overly responsible for others—and we gently unpack those patterns to create healthier ways of relating.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness techniques are integrated to help clients build awareness of emotional and physiological responses without judgment. This can be particularly helpful for managing anxiety, improving focus with ADHD, and responding more calmly in relationships. The goal isn’t perfection—it’s learning to pause and respond with intention.
